🐾🤍 Alumni Update: Bubba 🤍🐾
In February 2025, Bubba was sitting in an overcrowded shelter in Louisiana with his life hanging in the balance. His name had been placed on the euthanasia list, and time was running out for this sweet boy before he ever truly got the chance to be loved.
But Bubba’s story didn’t end there. ❤️
He made the journey north, and in August, he found the family he had always deserved.
Now, instead of cold shelter floors and uncertainty, Bubba spends his days snuggled up beside his mom, falling asleep on top of her during naps, going on walks, visiting his “aunts” (her little sisters who absolutely adore him), and watching her dance around the house while he happily looks on. He even lets her dress him up — because when a dog finally feels safe and loved, they trust with their whole heart. 🥹
His adopter shared something with us that truly touched our hearts:
“You all not only saved this amazing dog, but you saved me as well by giving me the opportunity to show love and care for him.”
That is the power of rescue.
A dog once hours away from losing his life is now someone’s best friend. Someone’s comfort. Someone’s family.
Bubba was once unwanted and out of time. Today, he is cherished beyond words, spoiled with love, and exactly where he was always meant to be.
