MaeDay Rescue MaeDay Rescue is a 501c3 animal rescue organization based in Los Angeles. Her passion is animals; with each one she saves, it's as if she is saving Maggie Mae.

We are solely based in Los Angeles and are not affiliated with any other organizations. MaeDay is named after Natalie's dog, Maggie Mae, whose life was taken after a roll over accident on the freeway in 2010. Since the accident, Natalie has volunteered at local California animal shelters and with Mexican animal shelters, fostering and finding homes for hundreds of dogs and cats. She has volunteere

d at Spay/Neuter clinics and is currently planning a Mae-Day spay/neuter clinic for the fall of 2014. It’s already that time where Colette can leave her puppies and we can’t believe it! This happy mom who did the BEST job raising her puppies is ready to live her own life and be spoiled. She had 7 puppies who are going to be 6 weeks old this Friday and are fully eating on their own.

Collette will be at the Maeday adoption event this Saturday 1-3pm at our sister pet supply store 👉🏽

Get ready to fall in love with her. She will melt your heart.

PS. Her puppies will be having their own meet and greet on Sunday the 22nd from 12-2pm

Meet new JUNEBUG!🧡🐾 This senior gal with a killer pony found her way to the shelter and we heard about her story and wanted to help. This poor girl was brought into the shelter as a stray — she was severely matted, dirty, and in horrible conditions. The shelter had to shave her down, but her fluffy poodle-y hair will grow back in no time. We are so happy she’s now safe with us!

Junebug is about 10ish years old, 12 lbs, potty trained …and pretty perfect. After just 2 days, her fosters said this: “She is a dream, lets us know when she wants to go out to the bathroom, very affectionate and loves being picked up (fell asleep as Chris carried her around yesterday), easy to walk, seems to like people, kids and other dogs (of all sizes)” Sounds like an amazing start! We can’t wait to learn more about her …and get her on the path to a forever home. June is the month that Junebug’s life turns around! 🙌🏼

Rumer is a supermodel!!!🌟💅🏻🤩 This 1 year old puppy has received a lot of interest already but we still haven’t found her perfect match yet. …And when our friend offered to do a photo shoot with her, we couldn’t resist!

Rumer’s perfect forever home would have a yard (she’s still working on her potty training and a yard is helping her!) ….it would also have another dog (she is still an active puppy that loves to play play play with other dogs), and it would have loving human(s) that want to cuddle her endlessly (she is a very affectionate little gal). We hope this 10-lb gal finds her forever home soon!!! Rumer is also further proof that you can find the CUTEST dogs at your local shelter. Always

Good morning from Maeday dog Raffi! Who is having a sleepover with our amazing trainer while his foster is out of town. Not only does he have a safe place to sleep, but he is learning basic leash skills on how to reign in his puppy excitement. He is getting glowing reviews & she said he is incredibly smart and is going to make an amazing dog for his future adopter!

This litter is now about 6/7 weeks old & today they are getting vaccinated and checked out by one of our vets and that means they are now fully ready for adoption!

Gertrude is doing so well & we are thrilled she’s out of the shelter and is now a . She’s still a bit shy & skittish, but once she knows you …or is in a lap & feeling secure, she does great! She keeps getting better & better each day and is even going on fun adventures with her foster mom. She loves going on walks too! We are proud of you, Gertrude!!! Remember Maeday Chico?! Well he is now adopted thanks to & Chico was originally found inside a car tire with his sister and they were bottle fed babies until they came to Maeday. We are forever grateful to the original rescuers because now he has a forever home.

Sienna is a happy puppy who loves to play with toys …..she’s just not exactly sure what’s a toy or not a toy yet 🤣. She’s learning though, we promise, hahaha! Sienna is a 3-month old shepherd mix puppy that’s growing by the day and SO sweet, goofy, and happy! She loves other dogs, loves to cuddle, and loves to play. Adopt this sweet gal!
