MaeDay Rescue is a 501c3 animal rescue organization based in Los Angeles. Her passion is animals; with each one she saves, it's as if she is saving Maggie Mae.

We are solely based in Los Angeles and are not affiliated with any other organizations. MaeDay is named after Natalie's dog, Maggie Mae, whose life was taken after a roll over accident on the freeway in 2010. Since the accident, Natalie has volunteered at local California animal shelters and with Mexican animal shelters, fostering and finding homes for hundreds of dogs and cats. She has volunteered at Spay/Neuter clinics and is currently planning a Mae-Day spay/neuter clinic for the fall of 2014. This page is meant to spread awareness and share the work that Mae-Day is doing, along with promoting Mae-Day events and Mae-Day animals. All donations are appreciated and will help all fur babies!! How has this smoothly face not had a million applications?! She was so sweet at the past adoption event. She greeted everyone, was calm around the other pups and had the best manners.

She is healthy for a bulldog and at some point in her past was used for breeding 😩 She is petite, sweet and is waiting for that perfect home!

Luann is HOME!!! This tiny girl found herself at the shelter after her previous owner went into assisted living. She was there for over a month and was marked as “rescue-only” because of her fearful behavior. Thanks to Thomas & Peggy Fung we saw her videos and rushed to get her! …And it turns out that she was just scared in the shelter environment - once she gets to know you, she is the biggest love bug & sweetest soul you’ll ever meet! Another reason to give those scared shelter dogs a chance! Thanks to her fosters Tara Martino & Hamilton!, this little princess adjusted quickly.

Luann’s new family already loves her so much and is so thankful to have her as part of their home. Her new mom A N V I T A S H A R M A saw her posts at the shelter and wanted to adopt her….so once she heard that she was rescued by us, she reached out and applied! It was clearly meant to be because it’s the perfect match!!! Luann is loving her new life & new family. She is quite fearful of men but 👉🏻to last slide to see how far she has come — even begging for pets!🥺🥰. Have a happy life, Luann! You can follow her new adventures at luann4now

Walter was such a good boy at the Halloween adoption event. He had some interest, but they didn’t pan out. Which means he is still available for YOU!

This 7 month boy is already potty trained, loves other dogs, is good with cats, great with people and his only crime is that he likes to hump when he meets certain dogs… 😂 He will of course grow out of that.

Puppies like this used to get adopted so fast! We know his person is out there and we aren’t worried. Share him to help find his people.

It’s a big day in Maeday Rescue!! Today is the 16th anniversary that started it all. November 1st, 2010 my life changed forever and after losing Maggie Mae, my focus turned to saving dogs in Maggie Mae’s name. Thanks to everyone who has helped over these past 16 years. Maeday wouldn’t be who we are without adopters, fosters, volunteers, networkers, vets and everyone in between.

Help us celebrate by donating to our fundraiser and if you want to help with a bigger impact, become a MONTHLY donor through the donation link in our bio. Even $5 a month will help us know what we can count on and budget for how many dogs we can save a month!

Officially introducing our newest senior dude, Gizmo! You may have seen him in the video we posted yesterday, which was pre haircut. We were told he was 15 years old and his teeth definitely give 15 years old, but his attitude gives kid brother. He is a spunky senior who loves other dogs, but gets a bit too obsessive and wants to lick their privates 😂 We keep telling him that Maeday isn’t that kind of rescue..

Gizmo only weighs 5lbs and is a hypo mix of some sort. He drools a lot, has a good appetite and his tongue sticks out. We assume after his much needed dental he will likely have zero teeth left.
