With over 5,000 acres of prairie and top quality bird cover, it is perfect for hunting dog training. As we wrapped up our training for the year in Mid December I was running my last dog of the year and caught this beautiful sunset! Watching Katie smell the bird, stick to the scent and flush the bird brought a huge smile to my face. 27 years ago I got my first bird dogs. 24 years ago I started training bird dogs for others. 22 years ago we officially started Hideaway Kennels. 20 years ago I started training dogs at . I have a lifetime of memories that most would dream of. I also have a ton of gratitude and thanks for all of you that have had dogs with us! 🙏🏽.
