This is a neat 5 year old haflinger gelding that's big and strong enough for an adult to start. Red has a few rides but is still extremely green. This pony stands approximately 14 hands and has more bone and foot than anything else on the place. He clips, bathes, ties, loads, and is current on shots and worming. Red is a tick watchy so best suited for someone with some knowledge to get him going. Sound and ready to rock and roll. He does have a hematoma where the cinch must have pinched him, should be gone in a few days. This is the type that you'll see topping the BIG sales results in a few years!! He's an own son of Tru Oakley, who is an APHA Jr. Cowhorse World Champion by Gay Bar Drummer, the 2nd Highest All-time Point Earning Stallion in the APHA, and his dam's sire is Tru Rolex, the Highest All-time Point Earning Stallion in the APHA. Oakley N Starlight has lots of stop and can do all the maneuvers. He has worked buffalo and cattle, drug logs, and had ropes thrown off him. He is coming along well in the cow work. He is quirky and will do best with an experienced rider, he is not a kids horse. If this gelding is stalled he will lightly weave.
