03/15/2025: Yep. Another great day of 'fixing' cats at our clinic. We neutered 14 male cats and 17 female cats. We definitely do it "for the animals" but also help our community have healthier households in general. Our cat clients come from rescues, or perhaps from a previous litter (mom too), strays, shelter cats and fosters, from Facebook and from friends. We give vaccines for the cats we fix, and do minor treatments for conditions like ear mites or removing matted fur.
Our building is small and we are supported by private donations and a few grants, so at this point we only fix cats. We do help folks with dogs and cats by providing $50-off certificates, redeemable at veterinarian offices, funded by the Montana Spay/Neuter Task Force license plates, for low- to moderate-income folks. At our clinic, we help not only Butte animals but also from several of the surrounding small towns. As we always say, at the end of the day, "we hope we made a difference".
