I often think of clients I do not see as often as I did at one time. I have been blessed to be trusted by so many for their beloved pet's grooming.
A couple weeks ago, I was reminded of a client that was always thoughtful and made me smile whenever I saw her. She would be sure to have a little something for me at the holidays. Always was thankful for my service. Several years ago, she had to move closer to family because she and her husband were aging. Her daughters stopped in to tell me she went to be with God the end of June.
They gave me a gift bag. I was able to visit with them and her husband. We talked about a lifetime of their pets. But what brought tears to my eyes was the note and gift in the card. Mary Anne was a wonderful lady and she wanted me to know I was appreciated. Our world could use more of her kind.
A person never knows the affect you have on someone else's life. Try to be respectful and understanding. Life is good and great people make it wonderful!
