Fostering Furbabies Animal Rescue We are a 501c3 Non Profit animal rescue based in Burton, MI. Our goal is to foster cats until they are ready for their forever home.

We get our cats/kittens fully vetted. We combo test, we spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites and given flea preventatives. We make sure the kitties are social and loving. We want to make sure the kitties find their forever home. We will only adopt to pre-approved adopters.

Gelato is the definition of a laid-back gentleman. This handsome black cat prefers to take life one nap, snack, and cuddle at a time. Easygoing and sweet, he gets along with everyone he meets and rarely lets anything ruffle his fur.

Whether he’s lounging in his favorite spot, supervising the room with those bright eyes, or showing off his adorable little tongue, Gelato brings a calm and comforting presence wherever he goes. He’s the kind of cat who reminds you to slow down, relax, and enjoy the simple things in life. Gelato is 5 yrs old.

🐾 Bella and her puppies are growing fast and have officially outgrown their collars! We’ve purchased the collars and added new harnesses to our wishlist.

It’s time for an upgrade, and we’re hoping to get them some new collars and harnesses to keep them safe and comfortable as they continue to grow.

Kiwi is a gorgeous 5.5-year-old mama who has officially retired from motherhood and is ready to be spoiled. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she’s comfortable with you, she absolutely loves attention. Pro tip: the quickest way to Kiwi’s heart is rotisserie chicken!

Kiwi came to us very pregnant and did an amazing job raising her five babies. Now it’s her turn to find a forever home where she can relax, be loved, and enjoy the good life.

And that tiny tooth sticking out? It gives her the most adorable, unforgettable expression and perfectly matches her sweet, soulful personality.

Monday we had the honor of walking in the Burton Memorial Day Parade, and we truly enjoyed being part of such a meaningful community event. ❤️🤍💙

It was wonderful seeing so many smiling faces, supporters, and fellow community members come together to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Thank you to everyone who waved, stopped to talk with us, supported our rescue, or cheered us on along the route. Events like this remind us how lucky we are to be part of such an amazing community.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to represent Fostering Furbabies and share our mission while honoring the true meaning of Memorial Day. 🇺🇸🐾
