Well I’m not sure if I’m ready to add “pig hoof trimmer” to my repertoire or not. Today was quite the experience with Chop and Suey here. Chop (our friend on the left) really didn’t mind being on his back after a couple minutes and I was able to get all 4 feet trimmed up nicely. Suey, is a stubborn girl. Did not want to be on her back and told us so 😅

That being said, I do now have the equipment to do hoof trimmings and am interested in gaining more experience. And if there is enough interest I may be able to invest in a nice dremel to make the job faster. So if anyone has pigs and is willing to go through this adventure with me, feel free to send me a message so we can discuss ❤️❤️

Made some new furry friends today! Sandra Dee the lab was thrilled to have her nails trimmed. Our friend Wickett has a hard time finding a groomer due to some aggression issues. So I made my way over to their home to give him a shave. Now, I’ll never claim to be a groomer. But a shave down is definitely something I’m willing to do if the pet needs it and is more comfortable at home! We had to do his hair in two sessions because his hair was so thick and quite matted, my clippers died the first time 😅 today I went and finished the job and gave him a nail trim! He feels like a new man according to his people 🥰 and he looks pretty handsome too!

Hi everyone!
💛Just wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself! My name is Julia, I’ve been a licensed vet tech for the past 13 years and have been nonstop working in clinics from emergency to general practice. A little over a year ago I started my own business as a relief tech, which means I travel to other clinics and help them out when they are short staffed. Almost a year ago I decided to branch out my business as a mobile technician offering In-home nail trims, a**l gland expressions, light grooming (I don’t claim to be a groomer), ear cleanings and more! I work by myself, I am fully licensed as an LLC and insured 😊
💛My favorite thing about being a mobile technician is not only helping pets that have a hard time leaving the house, but also clients who maybe have a hard time! I’m fast and efficient but also take my time when necessary. I don’t mind doing some dog wrestling, but can also offer advice for what to try if the pet isn’t cooperating. I have quite a few return clients at this point and I’m hoping to increase my in-home days this summer!
