Hey guys. Hammy is definitely a Darby Farm favorite . That why it’s hard for us to even announce that he might not be with us much longer. He has developed a sizable mass in his rear end and surgical removal is not an option for him (mainly his age is a huge factor). As you all know we believe in treating our animals like pets and part of the family. He’s starting to experience some discomfort but so far he doesn’t seem to be in any pain. One day Jehovah God will fix it so that animals will never experience suffering like they do today. We truly look forward to that time. We love you Hanmy. 🐷🐽❤️

Today, Friday the 9th is the last day to get eggs from the Darby Farm egg stand. We will start restocking again on Tuesday, July 21st. Melody wanted me to make sure you all knew bracelets, sanitizer and soap will still be available. Even if the eggs won’t. It’s hot out there everyone. Stay cool. 🥚🧼🫧🧴❤️

Big news! Our farm grew a bit bigger today. We unexpectedly found ourselves rescuing a young male cow. He’s a Highland Jersey mix and about 8 months old. It’s been our dream to find a cow for our farm but never thought it could happen. We truly feel this was meant to be and that our family was in the right place at the right time. Final decision on his name to come soon. Prayers for us as we navigate through this new experience. 🐮❤️

Melody wants to make sure everyone is aware of the new egg cooler setup at the egg stand. She’s also trying out a handy microphone so we can hear her sweet little voice loud and clear. Plenty eggs left. Will restock again tomorrow too. 🐓🥚❤️
