Silver lining for it being too hot to really grow flowers successfully in the summer is, beach days!
I love that I have the seasonality in work to focus on my family and soak in the little things. I'll just be day dreaming of what color sunflowers to grow for fall in between shelling and sandcastles.

Last weekend at the flower stand this season!
The flower stand is open today and tomorrow (6/12 & 6/13) untill 7 pm or sell out. Don't miss out on these beauties, the flowers really showed up for this last weekend. You won't find anything like them at the grocery store, the colors of the zinnias are so bright and the marigolds make everything pop! Plus each one smells amazing from either mint, basil or the flowers themselves. They really are a treat for your eyes, nose and soul 💚 . That's the benefit of having them grown locally, no chemicals, no long hours of shipping, no sitting in the stores for days. From the farm rows here in the neighborhood to your kitchen table, grown with love, passion and determination. I love be able to share them with this community.

One weekend left for bouquets at the flower stand. Bitter sweet.💔💚💐
The summer season is coming to a close but as I'm ripping out the tired flowers I'm planting cover crops for soil health and a bunch of different varieties of pumpkins for fall crafts! So there are still fun things happening in the farm rows. I'm so excited for these pumpkins, 🤞🏻 they do well.
Green Gate is already signed up for The Spooktacularly Sweet Stroll and the dried flower pumpkins are on the list of offering again this year. Cant wait !
So stop on by this Friday and Saturday to get a bouquet of beauty to last ya through the summer.

Fall flowers should start blooming again in October ( 🤞🏻no hurricanes)

The flower stand is fully stocked again and open until 7 pm! There will only be one more weekend of bouquets until the fall season. Stop by and grab you one of these locally grown beauties.
The basil, mint and marigolds smell so good, the zinnias are popping and the lisianthus will last well into next weekend. 💚

The self service stand is located one turn off of Centralia rd so its just a quick and easy stop on your way home. Grab a bouquet to give and make someone's weekend a little more special 💚💐.

Good morning! Flower stand is open. (6/5 & 6/6)

This weekend the bouquets are in different camps, bright colorful and cheery or soft pastel and dreamy. I'm fully in the dreamy camp and my daughter is in the bright and cheery. (Makes sense since she helped put together those bouquets)

Also new addition! Bracelets as pretty as the flowers. My daughter has been helping here and there with the flower stand and is very creative in her own right. So when she asked if she could try her bracelets in the stand, of course I said yes. So now there is The Farmer's Daughter Corner where she can showcase her creativity and add more beautiful things to share with the community. So stop on by the flower stand this weekend and pick out your favorite bouquet and maybe a bracelet to match.

I love love love mountain mint! From its soft sageish green color to its wonderful smell. It grows so tall and once its mature it makes for great long lasting foliage in an arrangement. I will be cutting some for this weekend bouquets and I think I should propagate it as well. I just need more of this in my life. 💚

Flower stand will be open this Friday and Saturday (6/5 & 6/6) while supplies last. Only two weekends left of this season. 🫣
