Things are growing at Fresh Pickins 🍉🌽

All of our melons have officially been transplanted, including our popular watermelons 🍉 and muskmelons 🍈. They are in the ground and off to a great start. The sweet corn plants are also coming up strong. 🌽

Things are moving in the right direction, and the farm is definitely starting to look more and more like summer.

🚨Fresh Pickin's 2026 Season Update!
As we prepare for the 2026 season, we want to share an important update:
We will NOT be returning to our longtime Brooklyn Park location at 169 & 109th due to the development in the area.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us at that stand over the years.

We’re excited to share that we have a new location in Osseo, just 3.5 miles south on Hwy 169! We’re incredibly grateful to for giving us the opportunity to set up a Fresh Pickins stand there.

‼️ We’re actively looking to expand into Champlin and Maple Grove for this season.

If you know any landowners, local businesses, city contacts, or even if you’re part of a community page or group—reaching out or sharing our post there can go a long way! Your connections could help us bring Fresh Pickins to more local neighborhoods.

🎃🍎 Fresh Pickins Goes Fall! 🍂🌽

Even though sweet corn season is behind us, you can still find Fresh Pickins in Brooklyn Park! We're now set up at our festival grounds off Hwy 169 & 109th (not the corner stand).

We’ve got your fall favorites ready to go:
• Jack-o-lantern pumpkins
• Decorative & ornamental pumpkins
• Pie pumpkins
• Mini pumpkins & gourds
• Assorted squash
• Apples
• Mums
• Corn stalks
• Indian corn
• Honey
• And more market items!

📍 Hours:
• Weekdays: 12 PM – 6 PM
• Weekends (during the festival): 10 AM – 6 PM
🧡 No admission required to visit the pumpkin area—just pay for what you pick!

Bring the family, snap a few fall photos, and grab everything you need for decorating or baking. We’d love to see you! 🎃

🌾 That’s a Wrap – Thank You for a Wonderful Season! 🌽🍉

As the 2025 season officially comes to a close, we just want to say thank you—to all of you who stopped by the stand, supported our family farm, and made Fresh Pickins a part of your summer.

Whether you came once, once a week, or every day—we’re incredibly grateful. From sweet corn and watermelons to muskmelons, and everything in between—it’s been a season to remember, and it wouldn’t have been possible without your support.

Thank you for showing up, spreading the word, and helping us finish strong. We can’t wait to see you again in 2026—with new locations, fresh produce, and another year of Fresh Pickins!

🌽FINAL DAY of the Season!!! – Friday, Sept. 5 🌽

This is it—your LAST CHANCE to shop the stand this season!
We’re open today at Brooklyn Park only, and once today is over… so is the 2025 season.

End of Season Specials:

🍉🌽 1 Watermelon + 1 Dozen Sweet Corn – $15 ($20 value – save $5!)

🌽🌽🌽Gunny Sack (4 Dozen Corn) – $35 ($40 value – save $5!)
Perfect for freezing and stocking up for the months ahead!

Freezing sweet corn is simple:
Blanch ears for a few minutes, drop in ice water, cut off the cob, and freeze. Enjoy fresh white corn all winter long—Thanksgiving, you’ll thank yourself.

Today is also our FINAL DAY at this Brooklyn Park location.
Due to construction on 109th, we’ll be moving next season to Champlin, Osseo, and Maple Grove. Stay tuned to this page for future updates and new stand info.
