Hello again! We are settling in nicely at our new home. The cats love it here. We have 2 boys available for reservation. A red tabby and a cream tabby.

We have been quiet as we adjust and unpack and set up the cat spaces, but now we are here and ready to resume spreading goblin joy.

To my Florida friends : Delivery by flight to Tampa is available since we are arranging to deliver the girl from this litter there.

Good afternoon friends. This rearing has been hard on us emotionally. Tilly lost 2 of her 3 kittens in the first week and it was a tough time to get through. This little girl is thriving so far, knocking on every piece of wood in the house. She is alert and starting to explore the nest.

Losing a kitten is by far the hardest part of breeding these children of mine. All the joy from the healthy happy kittens, and all the misery from the sleepless nights during their neonatal stage doesn't prepare you for the emotional damage of losing a kitten.

It feels a bit dramatic to say out loud, considering I'll only have these kittens in my life for a mere 15 weeks.

Last night, at about 1 AM, the chocolate girl passed away. It was a very fast transition from healthy to gone. I suspect a cardiovascular condition that was not compatible with life because it was so sudden and a very fast decline.

Losing kittens is a matter of fact. It's going to happen. All you can do is be prepared for the inevitable and try to save the ones that can be saved. I don't expect it to ever "suck" any less, but if the day comes that losing a kitten doesn't hurt then that is a sign I need to not be in the game anymore.

Anyway, thanks for coming to my ted talk. I love you all.

Tilly handled her labor extremely well, and has been tending to her babies very attentively.
