We’re so happy to have Margie on our team. Her love for animals shines through in what she does! That's why she is this month's Employee of the month! CONGRATS MARGIE!!!
Margie truly loves her career as a dog groomer because, to her, grooming is about so much more than making dogs look their best—it’s about helping them feel their best, too! She loves getting to know each pet’s unique personality and building relationships with their families. One of her favorite parts of the job is talking with pet parents, getting to know them and their pets, and sharing helpful tips and tricks to make it easier for them to maintain their pet’s coat between grooming appointments.
Margie is the proud pet parent of Roxie Heart, her 10-month-old Pekingese/Bichon mix, who was named after a character from the musical Chicago. Roxie is certainly a special little girl! When it comes to favorite foods, Margie enjoys home-cooked meals, ice cream, and sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza. Margie loves space, our oceans, mysteries, documentaries, and history. She also has a soft spot for all things colorful and cheerful, with pink, orange, and purple being her favorite colors. Her favorite movies include classic ’80s films, Hallmark movies, and Christmas movies, and she loves collecting Barbies. If you’re around Margie while she’s grooming, you may hear her singing along to her grooming pet's to her favorite ’60s and ’70s rock and old country music. And if the right song comes on, don’t be surprised if you catch her dancing, too! Outside of work, Margie enjoys spending time with her grandkids playing card games and board games. She also enjoys martial arts, astronomy, and astrology. If Margie could have any superpower, she would choose the ability to talk to dogs and cats. She thinks they would have SO much to say—and she’d especially love for them to tell her exactly how they want their haircuts!
