Today our Merrick family lost someone incredibly special. Brittney passed away this morning surrounded by love and family.
For many years, Brittney was such an important part of Merrick as a veterinary technician, but to us she was so much more than that. She was family. She was the teammate who was always there when someone needed help and the person who loved every pet that walked through our doors like they were her own. She was also always the first one planning every birthday party, celebration, or special moment for the staff because making people feel loved and cared for was just who she was.
So many of our clients watched her grow over the years and trusted her with their pets because of the genuine kindness and compassion she carried with her every single day. She made an impact on all of us in ways that are impossible to put into words.
Our hearts are absolutely broken, and we know many of yours will be too. Please keep Brittney’s family, friends, and everyone who loved her in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
We love you, Brittney. Thank you for being such a beautiful part of Merrick and of all our lives. You will always be part of this family. ❤️
