Much has changed since Kevin McNicholas founded SSA in 1971, but even as our business grew, evolved and shifted into new markets, who we are has always stayed the same.

On Monday, the SSA Group Brookfield Zoo team had an absolute blast at our DEI Workshop! The workshop incorporated improv and team building activities- focused on support, inclusion, communication and building stronger connections with each other.

Everyone was able to get involved and left the workshop wanting to continue to do more of these in the future. Dionna Griffin-Irons thank you so much for doing this for our team. It was so much fun!

Yesterday was Law Enforcement Appreciation Day! ❤️ Our team took over some pastries to our Law Enforcement team for them to have during their meeting! We appreciate everything they do for us and the zoo ❤️

How can we not end the year with some Holiday CHEER?! Cue the cheering picture! We had our Leadership Holiday Party recently at and everyone had a BLAST! We had delicious food from , personalized gifts for every supervisor, did some quarterly/yearly recognition and played some awesome games! Heres to 2023! ❤️

This year our Retail Team is taking donations for La Rabida's Children's Hospital in the heart of Chicago's Southside! Stop by one of our Gift Shop and purchase a plush to donate to La Rabida's Children's Hospital. Our team has been very excited and happy knowing they are going to make a difference on a Children's Holiday Season ❤️

We're all about LIGHTS during holiday magic!!! Either the over two million in the park, or one of our shining co-workers, the SSA Group and Brookfield Zoo provide a fun and happy environment for our animals, visitors, and staff. Happy Holiday Magic!

Happy Holiday Magic 🎄, we’ve certainly had an awesome start to ours! Across the zoo, there are over two million lights on trees, in our 600 foot light tunnel, and on our animal sculptures. Look out for new goodies at retail and food locations, especially our favorite: the funnel cakes at Wild Bites 😋 Yum! Thanks to our amazing team for their great work and dedication during the holiday season!
