Green Paws Veterinary Care

Green Paws Veterinary Care Welcome to Green Paws Veterinary Care! They never hold a grudge. They smile with their whole bodies when you pet them. They sleep on your bed. We get that.

They’re there for you when you’re sad and are happy when you’re happy. They’re not just pets. They’re furry family members. And we want them to live as long as you do. That’s why we provide the best veterinary care possible. You worry when they’re sick. We get that too. We try to communicate with you exactly what’s going on, because when you’re informed, you’ll worry less. We realize that our pati

ents can be scared too, so we work carefully to make each visit as fun for them as possible. Our building may be old, but we keep our equipment, skills and knowledge current and modern. With an in-house lab, x-ray capabilities, surgery suite, anesthetic monitors, computerized medical records and even a home delivery system for food and medication, we are equipped to handle almost any illness or injury. We believe that the best way to say thanks for their tail-wagging, unconditional love is to give them the best health care and we can help you do that. We have a passion for what we do. We love our pets. And yours, too.

Hi everyone! A bit of a different post but if you can please stick around.
Michelle has worked with Dr Marcotte since their Animal 911 days and followed her to Green Paws, where she worked for 7 years. She was one of our hardest and loyal workers and cared for everyone's pets alongside them.
She is currently battling the big and the scary condition no one wants to get.
Any help is very much appreciated and welcomed! Please help us in showing her the Green Paws family and furry friends wish her the best and good days ahead.
Her Amazon wishlist is linked with different types of gift cards, things for her daughter, supplies for her pets and essentials for her care after treatments.

Planning a cookout? With so many dishes on the table, it’s easy to lose track of ingredients—was there garlic in that dip? Raisins in the salad? Coffee-marinated steak? And where did that corn cob go? This week, we’re highlighting common cookout foods that can pose risks to pets.
Onion, garlic, and chives are members of the Allium species of vegetables. Allium species can cause gastrointestinal irritation and red blood cell damage, which can lead to anemia (low red blood cells). Although cats are more susceptible, dogs are also at risk depending on the amount ingested.

Mushrooms are a great addition to any meal, but not all mushrooms are good for our pets. Store-bought mushrooms can cause an upset stomach in pets with sensitive tummies, but wild mushrooms from the backyard can be a different story.
Wild Mushrooms can not only cause an upset stomach, but also neurological symptoms and liver effects, depending on the type of mushroom your pet ingested. It’s challenging to know what kind of mushroom your pet was exposed to, because wild mushrooms are hard to identify. It is best to use caution and remove any mushrooms in your backyard!
