I'M OFFERING FREE DOG BEHAVIORAL WORK to whomever adopts either (or both) of these 2 beautiful purebred female German shepherds. They need a home ASAP. Their owner passed away. Haley, the white one, is actually a 4ur old Swiss Shepherd. The other is 6 & her name is Shay Shay.
They can be adopted out separately. I spent some time w them in their home yesterday & this is what I found in conjunction to the info the family gave me:
Haley (white) is a very well balanced, gentle, sweet dog. I think she will adjust well to a new home w the proper attention.
Shay Shay is a wonderful sweet girl who is insecure & will require her new humans to be patient as she may take time to warm up to them (especially males). She requires a fenced in yard & LOTS of structured exercise. Her new home should include an adult female human with strong leadership skills and a gentle touch. Shay Shay could really use the company of a confident male dog with whom she can play/wrestle with. A home w out active loud young children is recommended for Shay Shay as they would likely make her nervous. She is on medication to help w her occasional seizures. No aggression issues found in either of these dogs. They haven't been socialized out of the home. I do not know how they would do w cats.
