Meet Emily, one of our veterinary technicians! Emily has been working with animals since high school as a kennel assistant. Joining our team in January as an intern, she came on as a tech after she earned her undergrad from Kutztown University. She hopes to attend high education in pursuit of becoming a veterinarian (and trust us - she will make a great one!)
When not working, Emily enjoys spending time with her two dogs and cat, going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Meet Zoë, one of our veterinary technicians & Lead Customer Service Representative! Zoë resides in Bethlehem with her dogs, rats, tarantula, and husband. Zoë has over a decade of pet care experience, and especially loves to learn about animal behavior and husbandry. She is also a Pet Photographer and has a studio located inside of the WLVC building. When not at work, Zoë loves to hike, travel, and read.

Meet Rachel, one of our technician assistants! Rachel has been working in the animal field for over a decade, having experience in dog day care and at a vet hospital in New Jersey. Rachel is currently enrolled in NCC and hopes to pursue her vet tech certification. Rachel currently lives with her husband, three dogs, and two cats. When not at work, Rachel enjoys being in the great outdoors with her family and making crafts with friends.

Meet Alexis, one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians. Alexis is a graduate of the LCCC/NCC Vet Tech Program! Alexis came to WLVC after completing her externship here! She has always loved animals and enjoys spending time with her dog Rocky and cat Maggie. Alexis loves to travel, sightsee, and spend time in nature, but also enjoys her time inside playing video games and watching movies.

Meet Makenna, one of our technicians! Makenna has been in the veterinary field for about 5 years and started her veterinary career working in a kennel at another hospital. Makenna has experience working in emergency medicine, where she met Allison, one of our CVTs! Makenna has 2 dogs, Remi and Moose. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, and traveling. Makenna loves music and plants as well!

Meet Katie, one of our veterinary technicians! Katie began her veterinary career in 2004 and spent the early years of her career in Shelter Medicine participating in high volume spay/neuter, TNR programs, community outreach programs providing veterinary services and client education to low-income populations. Katie moonlighted in general practice during her time in shelter medicine, but made a full transition to general practice in 2018. Katie’s priority is providing patients with a fear free experience and focusing on patient advocacy. She is passionate about small animal anesthesia and analgesia (pain management) with a particular love of brachycephalic breeds! Katie shares her home with her husband Wil, her kitty Pete, and her squishy-faced dogs Wila & Rupert!

Meet Renee, one of our CVTs! Renee joined WLVC after meeting Dr. Hernandez when they taught together at the LCCC/NCC Vet Tech Program. Renee has over 20 years of experience as a CVT in everything from general practice to emergency to dermatology. She now shares her time between WLVC and with the students at LCCC/NCC Vet Tech Program. Renee and her husband have 3 cats and 2 adult children. In addition to spending her time educating clients and future veterinary technicians, she enjoys road trips with her husband and looking for covered bridges.

Meet Allison, our Lead CVTs (Certified Veterinary Technician) & Hospital Coordinator! Allison has been in the veterinary field for just over 13years. Allison was inspired to become a veterinary technician by Patty, one of our other techs! Allison has a special interest in dentistry and anesthesia and is also a farrier! Allison enjoys hiking, running, biking, and barrel racing her horse. She enjoys spending time with her horse, 3 dogs, and 3 cats and is thrilled to be a part of the WLVC team!

Meet Patty, one of our veterinary technicians! Patty graduated from Manor College in 1989 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Patty grew up on a farm and has always had a desire to work with animals and the people that love them. Patty has worked in the veterinary field for over 35 years in general practice, large animal practice, and emergency medicine. Patty has a particular interest in critical care/emergency medicine, surgery, and client education. Outside of veterinary medicine, her interests include hiking, gardening, and visiting wineries. Patty lives in Quakertown with her husband Marco, shepherd mix Betty Montana, and 2 cats, Blossom & Miranda.

Did you know that WLVC has a dedicated cat wing and waiting area? This helps your kitty feel more comfortable when they’re here. We also have cat tv: bird feeders positioned right outside the windows so your fluffy friend has something to watch while they wait!
