We’ve had ONE spot open up in our Beginner Nosework class starting TOMORROW (Thursday 6/4) at 6:30 PM at Rotten Dog Sports Lodge in Braselton!

Curious about nosework? This introductory class is a fun way to let your dog put their nose to work. Using your dog’s primary reward, we’ll build the foundation of the game, develop focus on the search, and strengthen hunting drive. Handlers will learn to observe and read their dog’s body language as search skills develop.

This class is appropriate for dogs brand new to the sport as well as dogs in the early stages of being paired to odor.

If you've been thinking about trying nosework, now is the perfect opportunity to get started. This spot won't last long!

Most people know dogs can find drugs, explosives, and missing people, but did you know they’re now being trained to find hidden water leaks?

We’re excited to see Rotten Dog’s Training Manager, Meghan, and her dog Kieran working at the forefront of this growing field. Using their incredible noses, specially trained detection dogs can help locate underground leaks that might otherwise go unnoticed, helping conserve one of our most valuable resources: clean water.

Be sure to follow along as Kieran continues his journey in canine water leak detection!

💧 Did You Know? 💧

Not every water leak is visible.

Many leaks occur underground or beneath pavement, where water may travel significant distances before surfacing — or never surface at all. By the time visible signs appear, a substantial amount of treated water may already have been lost.

Certified Water Leak Detection dogs are trained to locate the odor associated with treated water, helping identify areas that may warrant further investigation. Working alongside traditional leak detection methods, canine teams can help utilities and water professionals focus resources more efficiently.

Every gallon saved matters.

Looking for a fun way to build teamwork, focus, and confidence with your dog?

Our Beginner + Intermediate Agility class starts Friday, June 12th!

This class is designed for a wide range of teams—from dogs who are completely new to agility to those already working on obstacles, handling skills, and sequencing. Exercises are tailored to each team’s current skill level, helping dogs and handlers build a strong foundation while continuing to progress.

Whether your goal is to try something new, strengthen your relationship with your dog, or improve your agility handling, we’d love to have you join us!

Whether your dog has never set paw in a pool or you’re already chasing bigger jumps off the dock, our Beginner Swimming & Dock Diving Class is designed to meet you where you are!

This class is perfect for:
✅ First-time swimmers building confidence in the water
✅ Dogs learning the foundations of dock diving
✅ Teams looking to improve distance, technique, and drive
✅ Experienced dock divers wanting quality practice and coaching

Each team works at their own pace with individualized instruction focused on confidence, safety, swimming skills, jumping mechanics, and toy/throw techniques. Dogs are never rushed, and we can get in the water to help as needed.
