Today we're celebrating one of Dog Mountain's most enthusiastic guests — Memphis! 🎂🎈
Memphis has many talents, but his greatest one is turning pickup time into an Olympic event. The second he spots Dad, all dignity goes right out the window as he launches into a full-blown celebration complete with zoomies, happy dances, and his famous pickup-day somersaults! 🤸‍♂️😂
We're pretty sure if excitement were a sport, Memphis would have a trophy case full of gold medals.
Thank you for bringing so many smiles to our days, Memphis. We hope your birthday is filled with extra treats, belly rubs, adventures, and at least a few championship-level somersaults when Dad gets home!

A huge congratulations to Henry for earning his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Certification! We are so proud of all the hard work and dedication that led to this accomplishment. Henry has worked hard, and it certainly paid off! 🎉❤️
With Henry graduating, we now have only a few spots left in our upcoming group training class for large breed puppies, older small breed puppies, and younger dogs.

Today’s pool party was supervised by none other than Elvis, our Great Pyrenees lifeguard. 🛟🐾

The Frenchies arrived ready to launch themselves into the water without a single thought, while the Pugs spent the day trying to push each other in and then acting completely shocked when it actually happened. 😂
Pug #1: shoves friend toward pool
Pug #2: falls in
Pug #2: “HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO ME?!”

Frenchie: jumps in on purpose
Frenchie: “HELP! I’VE MADE A TERRIBLE DECISION!”

From his lifeguard station, Elvis watched the madness unfold like a retired security guard working overtime.
Frenchie: “SAVE ME!”

Elvis: “You’re standing.”

Pug #1: pushes another Pug toward the water

Pug #3: “BETRAYAL!”

Pug #1: “Worth it.”

Meanwhile, the Frenchies were doing cannonballs, the Pugs were conducting poolside sabotage operations, and Elvis was wondering if livestock guarding sheep might have been less stressful.

By the end of the day:
✔️ No Frenchies were lost.
✔️ No Pugs successfully sued each other.
✔️ Elvis maintained order… barely.

Just another calm, relaxing day at Dog Mountain. 😂

Today at Dog Mountain the pool was packed, the zoomies were reckless, and we had a very important new visitor stop by the lobby…

🐾 Arlo the Corgi. 🐾

After a full inspection of the facility, several dramatic waddles, and at least 47 tiny corgi judgments… Arlo officially approved Dog Mountain.

Meanwhile outside:
Dogs were launching cannonballs with zero concern for others
Lifeguard skills were questionable at best
Pool water was consumed like a luxury beverage
And someone definitely barked at their own reflection again

Honestly, summer here feels less like a pet resort and more like a furry all-inclusive vacation run by chaos coordinators.

Nothing beats a beautiful sunny day at Dog Mountain ☀️🐾💦
The pups spent the day soaking up the sunshine, splashing in the pools, chasing their best friends around the yards, and enjoying every second of this perfect weather. Some were full speed all day long, while others found the best sunny spots to stretch out and relax. 😂
Days like this are what we love most — happy dogs, wagging tails, and lots of smiles from both the pups and staff. ❤️
We have a feeling there are going to be a lot of sleepy dogs tonight. 🐶

Mostly controlled… only pulled one person down the hallway to date.

Brother picks up:
‘Cool cool cool… but where’s dad?’

Dad picks up:
ALL HADES BREAKS LOOSE.
Helicopter paws activated.
Screaming.
Spinning.
Full airborne chaos.
Acts like he just reunited with his war brother after 47 years apart.

Meanwhile during lodging he spends half the stay staring at his own reflection like he’s the main character in a dog documentary.”
