We would like to welcome Dr. Jenna Heusi to our General Practice team!

Dr. Heusi is a former Ohio native who graduated cm laude with a Bachelor's degree in zoology from Miami University. She later attended St. George's College of Veterinary Medicine where she obtained her doctorate degree. Dr. Heusi owns 5 cats, 7 chickens, and 1 dog! She also has a love for horses. 🙂

We are super excited to welcome Dr. Brianna Miniter, DVM, DACVS to our team of specialists at VMC!

Dr. Miniter brings a wealth of expertise in both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. She also has a special interest in laparoscopic and arthroscopic procedures. In addition to her surgical skills, she has extensive experience teaching surgical residents and interns. She has a passion for helping both people and pets!

Over the past few weeks, VMC has had the honor of helping so many pets in need. We are proud to be a part of this community! From performing life-saving C-sections and caring for tiny kittens, to using our endoscope to remove stomach foreign bodies (and avoiding surgery!), giving blood transfusions and delivering lots of TLC – we’ve been busy making a difference!

Patients need not just medical care, but time to decompress, feel the sunshine and be comforted. Our incredible staff goes the extra mile to make sure every pet feels that love. 💕

We are excited to welcome Dr. Krotec to our team as a General Practice veterinarian beginning on May 1!

A Sarasota native, Dr. Krotec moved back to the area after graduating from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 – where she graduated in the top 10% of her class! She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Florida State University.

Her love for animals began early and was inspired by caring for her family’s horses, dogs and cats.

At home she has three dogs – Ollie, Cooper, and Lily. Outside of work, Dr. Krotec enjoys international travel, landscape photography, hiking, and scuba diving.

We are so excited for our clients and patients to get to know Dr. Krotec. When we first met her, she had such a kind and compassionate way about her. We know she will help clients and pets feel at ease and be a fantastic addition to our team! - Dr. Ellis
