Sugarman, Oden, and Hazel are three of our recent Board & Train graduates. They all struggled with one of the most common issues we see: dog reactivity. 🦮

So often, this behavior is rooted in uncertainty and/or miscommunication. We love watching these dogs become a more confident version of themselves who know how to better navigate these situations! Their owners have already been busy applying their new skills at home and are continuing to make awesome progress. 🤩

Xyla and Zion, two of our current Board & Trains, took their first field trip to downtown Bozeman today! 🚙 These two came to us with little to no experience being on leash, so they were very nervous in new environments, barked lots at new things, and pulled like crazy. 😵‍💫

They have both really enjoyed channeling their energy and focus into training, and were on their best behavior yesterday. It has been awesome to see their sweet personalities start to shine through as their confidence has grown! 😍

The snow didn’t slow Penny down yesterday! ❄️ She went on her first trip to Lowe’s to practice the skills she is learning and she did amazing! At only 12 weeks old, she is working on her puppy basics, engagement, and socialization. We are so proud of her for the effort she puts into her training! 💜

We are so proud of Wylie and his owner for their progress! 😍 They came to us with a great obedience foundation but needed help addressing Wylie’s lingering reactivity towards other dogs. 🐕

After only a couple of lessons, they both feel much more confident around other dogs and in their communication with each other in these situations. Keep up the great work! 💪

Bosco, the 7 month old Poodle, is a bundle of energy ⚡️and has been lots of fun to work with already! He is initially nervous about new things, but once he warms up, he struggles to settle his excitement. He lacks a consistent recall and often gets too riled up when playing with his family’s children. This boy is smart, 🤓 and we can’t wait to see all he will learn!
