North View Farm, is a family-owned business, that my parents Harry & Pat Lawyer started over 50 years ago. After years of showing horse with them as a child & a few years as an amateur, I (Tracy Lawyer-Reynolds) decided that I wanted to train horses and coach children for a living. osa horses for more then 20 years with many accolades and wins to her name, both on a local, National and World level. After a successfully youth and non-pro career then working as assistant trainer for Terry Thompson in Springfield, ILL Tracy felt it was time to share the knowledge she gained from past expenses as a youth, non-pro, open rider and as an assistant trainer, to help others achieve their goals as a rider. Tracy started out in the 4H and Open arenas and quickly moved to the breed circut, showing ApHC, NRHA & AQHA with the influence of some very outstanding trainers like...Terry Angelo, Josette Conti, Dick Pieper, Pat Odell, Terry Thompson and Brian Ale, with the continued help of these very talented individuals Tracy continues to grow as a coach and trainer. One of Tracy's passions have always been Reining horses, Tracy's husband Shawn is a successfully non-pro rider, showing in the Reining events at the NRHA and ApHC shows under the guidance of NRHA's Million Dollar Rider Rocky Dare. Shawn is a multiple ApHC National & World Champion and NRHA money earner. Tracy is starting to focus on pursuing her judges cards, but for now shes enjoying judging 4-H horse and open shows. For some relaxation Tracy started a new business, Sassie Cowgirl selling new and pre-owned show clothes, jewelry, designer t-shirts & hoodies for the ladies in and out of the horse show world. At North View Farm we offer riding lessons, summer camp, leasing of horses, sales, horse showing or recreational riding.
-Riding Lessons are offered to adults & children, 4 and up, beginner thur advanced, we offer Western & English Riding-if your starting as a new rider, getting back to riding after the winter NVF is a great place to ride.
-Leasing a horse-options are half an partial lease. (please contact us for more information)
-Summer Camp is a great opportunity to get in some extra riding time and hands on experience & to become a better rider. Riding in the morning, lunch & other horse related activities in the afternoon.
-Pony Party's-if you have a birthday coming up...you can bring the party, family, kids & food to the FARM!!!
-Horse Shows-we offer horse show at all levels-4-H, Open, Regional, National & World.
-Recreational Riding-if you want to learn to ride just for the pleasure of riding & being around a horse we can help you with that also. Please feel free to contact us for more information -
