So this is what I got the first day of Turkey season. Know your rights and stand your ground, literally! This was 10am and I stuck around and hunted until noon. Funny thing,....no DEC. I was hunting State Land. Chances are that I've been hunting this Public Land since before whoever put this on my windshield was born. In my lifetime I have seen the Nutt Road, which is access to County Land, get chained off by the people who owned the land on either side of that road, the Law made them remove it. Another access to the same Public Land was gated and the owner of the land on either side of that road would come out screaming at you that you were trespassing. He would wrongly and selfishly scare a lot of people away. I talked to the County Supervisor,...he said that's public access, have at it. Now, another Clown. I don't care if you live closer to it, Public Land is just as much mine as it is yours.
