Grief is a constant
tug of war
between trying to
move forward and not
wanting to at all

Grief can feel like a
constant tug of war
within our hearts

On one side , there’s a
strong desire to move forward,
to heal, and to find moments of
peace and happiness again

Yet on the other side,
there’s a reluctance to let go ,
a fear of forgetting,
and a longing to hold
onto the memories and
the pain as a way to stay
connected to what once was

A balance between
pushing forward,
and holding back

Grief has its own timeline
It’s okay to feel a mix of
emotions, to take small steps
toward healing , and to honor
yourself along the way

Each little step forward,
no matter how small,
is a testament to your
strength and courage
in the face of loss

In time, the tug of war
will gradually ease,
allowing you to find a
sense of peace and
acceptance as you continue
on your journey
of healing

And it’s okay
to take it
one step at a time
