No better way to begin the summer than a wonderful hosted show at Keystone!! Thank you to all our volunteers, judges, trainers, parents, and riders for always supporting our shows and making them possible!

Big shout out to our Ridge Road Crew for all their success inside and outside the ring! You guys are a lovely example that it is not always about the ribbons that you get in the ring but the friendships and memories you make while riding alongside your barn family!! Every rider showed immense growth, sportsmanship, and determination this weekend!! We are proud of each one of you and blessed to have the best barn family!!

Ridge Road Riders is sending their first ever IEA to Nationals!! We are incredibly proud of our High School team, consisting of Emily Marino, Leara Roush, Macie Maylath, and Mckenzie Kulp! The team finished the day tied for Champion with 19 points but finished up as Reserve Champion after the tie breaker out of 16 teams!! They will be traveling to St. Louis, Missouri on April 24-27 for the IEA National Horse Show!

Congratulations to our individual Zones riders:

What a weekend for our girls at the 4-H State Horse Show!! It is a huge accomplishment to make it to this level, let alone come home with multiple top placings in multiple classes! As always, our girls never disappoint!!

🌟Acadia Lesher & Prince of Narnia came home as the State Champion in Low Equitation Over Fences (Ages 8-13), Reserve State Champion in the Low Working Hunter Ponies, 3rd in Hunter Hack Ponies, and top 10 in the Hunter Under Saddle Ponies!

🌟Hayley Polczynski & Prince'sSpecialStormy started their weekend off strong on Friday night, receiving the State Championship in the Hunt Seat Equitation on the Flat! They finished strong Saturday coming home with the Reserve State Champion in the Classic Hunter Under Saddle Ponies and top 10 in the Low Working Hunter Ponies with a lovely round!

🌟Leara Roush & Keyes To Success had beautiful rides over the weekend leading them to a State Championship in the Classic Hunter Under Saddles Horses (Ages 8-13) and a Reserve State Champion in the Hunt Seat Equitation on the Flat!!

🌟Machaella Knelly & Odds In My Favor ended their 4-H journey with a bang coming home as the State Champion in the Working Hunter Horses, Equitation Over Fences (Ages 14-18), and Hunter Hack Horses along with top 5 finishes in the English Grooming & Showmanship and Classic Hunter Under Saddle Horses (Ages 14-18)!!

🌟Carley Ashenfelder & Tootsie had a lovely 4th place finish in the Hunt Seat Equitation on the Flat!

🌟Makenlee Camillocci & Jessie strutted their stuff in the Classic Hunter Under Saddle Ponies and came home with a 10th place finish in a large group of 19 ponies!!

🌟Charlie Llewellyn & Ember had lovely rides in large, competitive Beginner classes!! Excited to see this pair continue to grow together!

As the regular horse showing season has come to a close for a little while, we are excited to see our IEA teams back in action this coming Sunday!!

Yes, I am a few weeks late but our IEA team started their season off with a bang!! On September 8th, our IEA hosted their first show of the season at home!!

Both teams stepped up to the plate and rode fantastic, finishing the day on top of their leader boards!

We are so blessed to have the best team members and team parents who help to put on these shows! Thank you to our horse providers, schoolers, judge, EMT, and coaches for always supporting our shows! Our IEA team will be back in action November 3rd at home once again! A big Good Luck to our IHSA team who kicks off their season next weekend at Lehigh University's Hosted Show!!

Ridge Road’s IEA team is currently doing a Double Good Popcorn fundraiser!! IEA is an organization for middle school and high school students who may not have the opportunity to own their own horse but still want to compete at shows. Both of the teams travel to shows throughout the fall, winter and spring to compete on other team’s horses. Each team is required to host a home horse show and as many of you know, that is not a cheap fee. We are excited to release our final 2024 show season schedule!! This year, membership forms will be due at the show in which you want your points to begin counting from (November points from Ridge Road Stable show will count for everyone that attended)! If you turn your membership forms in in the middle of June, none of the shows prior to that will count towards your year-end points! Therefore, get your membership forms in at the first horse show you attend!! Little late like usual but Ridge Road had a super fun and successful week at HITS Saugerties Week IV!! Lots of ribbons earned, lots of lessons learned, and lots of memories made! Congratulations to all of our clients on your great success!! The hours of blood, sweat, and tears paid off!!
