🐾 There Is No Big Funding Source Behind Animal Hope Alliance. There Is You. ❤️

When a cat comes to us needing to be spayed or neutered, when a litter of kittens needs vaccines, or when our foster homes suddenly fill with hungry little mouths, there isn't a grant or a large funding source waiting to cover the bill.

Animal Hope Alliance relies solely on donations from people who believe in what we do.

Our organization is run entirely by volunteers. The people fostering kittens, coordinating adoptions, transporting cats, cleaning kennels, trapping community cats, and doing the countless other jobs necessary to keep this rescue going give their time because they believe these animals deserve a chance.

But even with an all-volunteer team, rescue is expensive.

Spays and neuters. Vaccinations. Veterinary care. Food. Litter. Medication. Supplies. When we're caring for a large number of cats and kittens at once, those expenses add up incredibly quickly.

That's why we're asking our community for help.

You don't have to make a large donation to make a difference. $5, $10, $20—or whatever you are comfortable giving—adds up when a community comes together. You can also help by purchasing something we need from one of our wishlists.

Every contribution means we can say YES to another animal who needs us.

You'll find links to our donation platforms, wishlists, and website via our linktree in the comments.

If you believe that homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals deserve love, care, and another chance, please consider helping us continue this work. 🐱❤️

And if donating isn't possible right now, sharing this post helps too.

🐾💕 Meet Earl & Catalina! 💕🐾

These two girls have come such a LONG way, and we really want to find them the right home. 🥺

First, a little update on Earl… she has a secret. 😂💕 SHE’S A GIRL! When Earl first came into our rescue, we thought she was a boy. After getting her settled in and getting her to the vet, we found out our little Earl was actually a beautiful girl!

Earl and Catalina came to us from a local shelter after being surrendered as extremely feral kittens. They were terrified and really didn’t understand people at all. We decided to give these girls a chance, and they’ve been with us for months now learning that being inside isn’t so scary. ❤️

Catalina has definitely come around more. She’s still shy, but she’s much sweeter and is learning that people aren’t so bad.

Earl… well, Earl is still Earl. 😂🥹

She’s hissy, cautious, and definitely likes to keep people on their toes. She doesn’t really care for being petted and she’s not going to turn into a lap cat overnight. But she LOVES to play and she’s learned to enjoy the comforts of indoor life.

And honestly? That’s okay. ❤️

We don’t need Earl to become a completely different cat. We just need someone who can understand her.

Someone who won’t chase her around trying to make her love them. Someone who will let her decide when she’s ready to trust. Someone who can appreciate a cat who might show her love by sitting across the room, playing nearby, or eventually deciding she wants to hang out a little closer. 🥹

These girls are:

🐱 Good with other cats
🐶 Good with small dogs
🏡 Looking for a calm, patient home
💕 Catalina is shy but continuing to blossom
😂 Earl is still a spicy little girl who needs someone who understands her

Earl is spayed, FeLV negative, up to date on vaccines and prevention, and healthy. Catalina is also fully vetted and ready for her forever home.

We would LOVE to see these sisters stay together if the right home comes along. ❤️ They’ve been through so much together and having each other has helped them feel safe.

We know Earl may not be the easiest cat to adopt. But sometimes the cats who take the longest to trust us are the ones who make every tiny bit of progress feel HUGE. 🥺💕

Earl doesn’t need to be “fixed.”
She just needs someone willing to understand her.

Could you be Earl & Catalina’s person? 🐾🏡

💕 Meet Inky & Twinky! 💕

These two little girls were rescued from beside the interstate a few weeks ago. 🥺 We aren’t sure if they were dumped or exactly what happened to them, but they were VERY shy when they first came to us.

Fast forward a few weeks and they’ve come such a long way! 🥰 They’re still a little shy and will need someone who is willing to give them some time to settle in, but they’re ready to start looking for their forever home!

Both girls are:

🐾 Spayed
🐾 Up to date on vaccines
🐾 FIV & FeLV negative
🐾 Dewormed
🐾 On flea prevention

They’re sweet little girls who just need someone patient enough to let them come out of their shells at their own pace. ❤️

We’d REALLY love to see Inky & Twinky stay together if possible. They’ve been through everything side by side, and having each other makes such a difference for them.

💕 Meet Miss Miggy & Biscuit! 💕

Miss Miggy is SUCH a sweet, sassy girl 😂 She lovesssss to play and eat, which honestly sounds like a pretty great life to me lol. She has so much personality and is always ready to have some fun!

Her brother Biscuit is the shy one. 🥺 He takes a little longer to warm up, but having his sister around definitely helps him feel more comfortable. He also does really well with other kitties, so we’d love a home for him where he can have a kitty friend.

These two are such a cute pair and we’d love to see them find their forever home! 🐾❤️

If you think Miss Miggy and Biscuit might be the perfect addition to your family, send us a message! 🏡💕

🐾🧡 Ollie the Poly Has a Family! 🧡🐾

There's something extra special about Oliver—and we're not just talking about those extra toes! 😻

Meet Oliver, affectionately known as "Ollie the Poly," our handsome orange polydactyl tabby who recently found his forever home!

Those oversized polydactyl paws may have made Ollie stand out, but it was his sweet personality that won over his new family. And the best part? He's joining a home that already has two young kitties waiting for another friend! 🧡

Ollie's new family has an 8-month-old boy and a 6-month-old girl, both friendly, fully vaccinated, and already experienced at welcoming another cat into their lives. Their little girl is especially energetic—sometimes a little too energetic for her brother! 😂 So they thought a younger kitten who could match her enthusiasm might be exactly what their family needed.

Enter Ollie. 🐱🐾

We have a feeling those extra toes are going to come in handy keeping up with his new sister! 😂

What we especially love is how thoughtfully his new family approached adding another kitty. They weren't simply looking for another cat—they were thinking about the personalities of the cats they already have and whether a new companion would be a good fit for everyone.

Now Ollie gets to grow up with two feline siblings, plenty of playmates, and a family committed to keeping their animals happy, healthy, and loved.

We couldn't ask for much more for this special little guy. 🧡

Congratulations, Oliver "Ollie the Poly!" May your future be filled with endless zoomies, sibling adventures, cozy naps, and all the extra high-fives those magnificent paws can handle! 🐾🧡

🧡🐾 Tango's Wait Is Over—He's Home! 🐾🧡

For weeks, sweet Tango waited patiently for someone to walk through the door and realize what his foster parents already knew: this boy was something special.

Tango is another of the 20 kittens rescued from the same feral cat population we've shared with you over the past few months. From the beginning, he was an absolute sweetheart—loving, affectionate, and always so hopeful that maybe this visitor would be the person who took him home.

As the weeks passed, Tango earned a very special place in his foster parents' hearts. Saying goodbye wouldn't be easy, but they knew their job was to love him until the right family came along.

And recently, they did. 🧡

A wonderful couple met Tango, fell in love with his adorable personality, and decided he belonged with them.

And we think Tango hit the jackpot!

His new family already includes two indoor rescue kitties and a puppy they rescued from the side of the road in North Carolina. Clearly, Tango found himself a home with two people who have very big hearts for animals in need. 🥹

Tango's new dad is also a third-year medical student at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), so between studying and caring for patients, we're pretty sure this sweet boy will make an excellent study buddy. 📚🐱

For a kitten who spent weeks watching and waiting for his turn, we're overjoyed to finally say:

Tango, you have a family. You are HOME. 🏡❤️

We know this loving, playful boy is going to have a wonderful life surrounded by people and animals who will adore him just as much as his foster family did.

Happy adoption, Tango! Your foster family may miss you terribly, but seeing you find the loving home you were waiting for makes it all worthwhile. 🧡🐾
