Quite a few of our favorites will have new artworks for this show! Make time to swing in anytime from 5:30 pm to 8 pm and see them for yourself!

We haven't seen all the new work, but know that Cindi VanDeusen Lostritto, Lori Ivy, Lynae Hanson Art, Alicia Leingang Art Studio, Paul Noot Studio, Lone Peak Studio, Kristy Little, and Katrina Case-Artist, to name a few, with soooo many more on the wall!

⏰THE MONSTER MASHTOBER COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN!⏰

We are one month away from our October daily drawing challenge, and we want YOU to participate! Here’s how you can join in on the fun:

1️⃣ Create a piece of art based on the day’s prompt word

2️⃣ Post your work on social media. Don’t forget to tag us and use the hashtag !

3️⃣ Join us at Carden Custom Framing on October 31st (we’ll be done before trick-or-treat time) and show off your month’s work to patrons and other participating artists. This is optional, but we don’t think you want to miss out on all the fun things we have planned that day 👻🦇

To give you time to sketch, think, and prepare, here’s prompt words for the month of October! And remember, even though Monster Mashtober is a creepy name, your art’s subject is only limited by your imagination. Spooky or not, we love it all!

We can’t wait to see what you create starting October 1st!

What is cyanotype? It's a solar-activated method of producing images on paper. Once a surface is prepped, lay it out in the sun and place leaves and flowers, or images printed on transparent paper, or whatever else you can think of on top to block out UV rays. Once it has "baked" long enough, process it in a tray of cool water, allow to oxidize, and BAM! You have a beautiful blue-toned piece of art.
