Thank you for your patience and understanding today while we worked through our unexpected server outage.

We are happy to report that our systems are now fully restored, and Gasow Veterinary Hospital is back up and running at full capacity. We once again have access to patient records, prescription information, appointment schedules, and all other hospital systems.

🎆 The 4th of July is just around the corner! 🎆

While we look forward to the celebrations, the loud booms and bright flashes of fireworks can be incredibly stressful—and even dangerous—for our canine companions. More pets go missing on the Fourth of July than any other day of the year.

To help ensure your holiday stays safe and stress-free, here are a few essential tips to keep in mind:

🆔 Prepare for the Worst Case: Double-check that your dog's microchip information is up to date in an online registry so you can be reunited quickly if they panic and escape.

🤫 Create a Quiet Space: Set up a cozy, secure interior room with their favorite blankets and indestructible toys.

🏃‍♂️ Tire Them Out Beforehand: Take your pup for a long walk or have a big play session earlier in the day before the fireworks begin to encourage rest later.

🧘‍♂️ Play Calming Sounds: Use a fan, white noise machine, or dog-friendly calming music (you can find great tracks on YouTube) to help mask the noise outside.

🐾 Keep Them Close By: Try to stay home with your pets during the peak fireworks window. Your presence is the best comfort they can have!

🏥 Thinking about calming medication? If your dog suffers from severe fireworks anxiety, prescription medication can make a world of difference. Please call us soon to discuss options! Note: Your pet must be up to date on their annual exam for us to prescribe medication.

It's time for our annual Chipotle Fundraiser!!

On July 11th from 4pm-8pm, 25% of your order goes to our Paisley Paws Fund when you show the Chipotle team this flyer or order online using our code E49XDVC!

Last year we were able to raise a significant amount of funds and this year our goal is over $500!!
That means we need 175 people to order a burrito or burrito bowl with all the fixings!🌯

The entire team at Gasow Veterinary Hospital is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a colleague from Wilson Veterinary Hospital.

They were a dedicated advocate for animals and a respected doctor in our local veterinary community. Their passion for medicine and compassion for their patients left a lasting impact on countless families in our area.
