If you caught the news last night, you may have seen Dr. Alex on CBS Detroit talking about wildfire smoke and your pets, but if you missed it, here's what you need to know.

Dogs, cats, birds, and horses can all be affected by poor air quality, especially those with heart or breathing conditions. Watch for coughing, watery eyes, fatigue, or loss of appetite.

Keep them indoors as much as possible, limit outdoor time to bathroom breaks, and if symptoms aren't improving after 20-30 minutes, give us a call. 💙
