This feisty hawk was brought in by the Alabama wildlife center with an old broken wing. It is passed the point of being fixed so he can’t be released, but they will be able to use him as an educational bird. We hope you enjoy!

Warning- graphic images with a happy ending!!
This kitten was picked up from the streets with an injured eye. Dr. G wasn’t sure if it could be fixed but he gave it a chance and he was able to fix it up! The kitten is doing great now and living a wonderful life. And our stray fund was able to cover the surgery, thanks to our clients for donating for a good cause!

Warning, these photos may be disturbing to some viewers!! But, this boy has a happy ending to his story! This cat was burned in a fire, but with the help of Phovia, a light therapy treatment we use on wounds, he has made a full recovery! We are so glad he is okay!

This is Hydrangea! She is a beautiful Sugar Glider that came into our clinic for losing weight. Dr Grimmett did an xray and a parasite test to rule out any underlining issues but he found nothing. The owner will monitor her for now. We will recheck her in the future if needed.

these pictures may not be for the faint of heart, but, we wanted to show you how fast a cat bite wound can heal. cat bites can become infected very fast and they are a medical emergency. this is before and after a good flushing and cleaning and some healing time and antibiotics. if you get bit by a cat go to your doctor, if your pet gets bit by a cat, call us!

Hi everyone! This sweet boy is Hoss. He was having severe back pain, and his mom and dad have tried everything to help him. He was hurting even through medication, so Dr. G preformed a back block, similar to what a person with back pain would get. We wanted to wait a little while to be sure it worked before posting about it, but, we have good news! He is getting around a lot better and not in pain. This is still something that is trial and error for us, as it’s a new procedure Dr. G attempted to save this boy. We hope in the future if we need to do any more blocks, they will help that patient just as much as it helped our boy Hoss!! Thanks for reading and feel free to send all your prayers and well wishes Hoss’ way! 💕
