It is with very mixed emotions I am here to announce that after 39 years of owning Trussville Animal Hospital, I am retiring. It has been an honor to be invited into your lives to help care for your beloved furry family members. For all these years, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching many of your families grow and even your children and your grandchildren bring their pets to us as well. I will cherish the many memories we have shared and the bonds we have formed throughout the years and consider you as my family as well.

Dr Paul Bronold will be the new owner and we are all doing our part to have a smooth transition. Dr Toves ,who many of you have met , will be here as well.

I truly thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.

If you are in need of medication for your pets that are afraid of fireworks, we will be open until noon today. We will be closed Thursday, 1/1/26 through Sunday, 1/4/26. We will re-open at 7:00am on Monday, 1/5/26. We hope you all have a very safe and Happy New Year!

We will be taking a little extra time off for our staff to do the same.
We will be closed the rest of this week.
Next week we will be open regular hours on
Monday, 12/29 and Tuesday, 12/30.
Wednesday, 12/31 we will close at noon and remain closed the rest of the week.

‼️ATTENTION‼️
Hello Friends! It has come to our attention that there is a rumor going around that we are closing at the end of this year which is NOT true. Dr Fuqua is retiring, and lleaving our practice on 12/31, but
Dr Baumann still owns the practice and will continue working into the new year. Additionally, we will be adding new doctors to our staff starting mid January. During this transitional period, we will be making some temporary adjustments to our schedule which we will let you know about as soon as they are finalized. We very much appreciate your patience during this time and look forward to caring for your babies in the coming year and beyond!

Good evening friends! We want to let you know that there will be a Change in Office Hours:
Two of our team members are moving on to other positions to further their careers. So, for now, starting September 9th, we will be closed on Tuesdays. Please bear with us as we restructure our shifts and other team members to a new schedule.

With New Year's Eve right around the corner, be sure to contact us tomorrow if your pets are afraid of fireworks and are in need of medication. We will be open regular hours tomorrow. We will have limited hours on Tuesday, 12/31/2024 and will be closed on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. We will reopen at 7:00am on Thursday, January 2, 2025. We hope you all have a very Happy New Year!

It’s with a heavy heart that we inform our family and friends about the passing of our sweet Mama. Mama kitty came to us over 17 years ago along with her kittens. Mama had the kindest personality and was loved by all of those who knew her. We hope you get all the temptations and can food that you could ever ask for. She will definitely be missed. ❤️🐾
