Approximately 120,000 or 75% of healthy, adoptable cats and dogs brought into Alabama shelters are euthanized each year. You can help reduce pet overpopulation by purchasing a spay/neuter license plate tag or checking off a donation at the end of your Alabama Income Tax form.




The sale of car tags and money donated through the income tax check-off, provides spay/neuter surgeries for qualifying low income families. To date, more than 60 veterinarians have performed almost 15,000 surgeries across our state through this Alabama Veterinary Medical Association (ALVMF) program.

This gorgeous girl is available for adoption! She is an approximately 3 year old female (healthy, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations)--shy, but loving and snuggly. She does well with other cats.

This cute girl was found by a Good Samaritan in English Village this afternoon. Female, older, no microchip. She looks fairly recently groomed with a fresh bandana. Black collar, no tags.
