The war may be over. The fight to come home is not.
June is Post-Traumatic Stress Awareness Month.
For too many veterans, the hardest battle begins after the uniform comes off.
Not all wounds are visible. Not all injuries show up on an X-ray.
Yet every day, veterans carry the weight of experiences most of us will never fully understand.
PTS can impact relationships, employment, physical health, and the ability to fully engage in life. It can be isolating. It can be exhausting. And far too often, it remains misunderstood.
This month, let's change that.
Let's replace stigma with understanding. Silence with conversation. Isolation with connection.
At Dog Tag Buddies, we witness courage every day. Not on a battlefield, but in training classes, doctor's offices, family gatherings, workplaces, and communities. Healing doesn't always happen in giant leaps. Sometimes it happens one step, one conversation, and one day at a time.
No veteran should have to fight invisible wounds alone.
Join us this month as we share stories of resilience, hope, and the many paths to healing.
