I find this hard to post. This sweet girl was a resident at Bark. I almost adopted her myself... but fate had something else in mind. She was adopted by the most amazing human who reached out to me for my group hikes. Imagine when I walked in and saw this precious girl was going to now be spending her mornings with me and the pack! It was meant to be.

Miss Roxie here was a friend to all including my then 4 year old son. They had a special bond. She became a part of the pack in 2012 and with gut wrenching sadness... she had to be set free. Cancer got her but she was a trooper until the very end.

She learned how to hunt voles from my crew and she loved loved loved hunting with the group. She was always ready for an adventure be it hiking with her mom or hiking with us... she loved being out and about. Always so sweet and loving.

I will always remember you and the how you made it snow in your new living room by taking apart the furniture when I first met you to your final hike with the gang running thru the field and hunting voles just a few days ago!

You will always be remembered.

I am sure your pack is up there waiting for you to show you all the good hunting spots.
