Twister “Twist of Pocos Kiss” 2007 AQHA (and FQHA) registered mare
Exposed in the month of July to a homozygous grey stud that’s driftwood/hancock bred that I have personally rode and attest his nice demeanor and ride ability (confirmed to be mounted multiple times)
Twister stands about 15h, good hard feet, easy to be around, good in a herd setting, minds her manners with the more dominant horses (my other mare)
She can be iffy to catch but she’s reliable with grain or in a smaller area
She does have heaves making her light riding sound only, and someone who’s knowledgeable in the matter, I have had zero issues with her, and I suggest you do your own research and determine if you want to be hands off as I have, or you can opt for doing supplements that can help.
She is more of a go ride, one hand, neck, grain, side pass, she’s mainly been ranched on outside, so keep that in mind when watching the video. She stands quiet to saddle, takes a bit easy, and stands for you to get on. She’s always been in with mares and geldings

Do not ask if she is kids safe, I do not sell any Horze recommended for kids unless I’ve seen firsthand, she does have more pep in her step so not recommended for a cautious rider either.

This dude tries so hard, even when he’s acting up he’s just expressing himself 😂
First ride completely solo, no second rider, no driving ground person, and we were definitely feeling good with the wind that was picking up but he tried his best to behave

Hobbling is SO important. It saves your horses from a potential wreck with wire or rope, and it’s just a good overall skill to have and know. First few times I hobble a c**t I do Very short sessions, like a couple minutes. Why? Because I don’t want to encourage movement, I want them to see their feet are stuck, do some movement but not enough to where they want to really get running 3 legged. Some horses get it, some horses don’t.

Just the best attitude to this guy, pack saddle, literally no biggie, even with us giggling he looks like a mule 😂 his mane is trying it’s gosh darn hardest to grow back ok 👌🏻

Offering Twister
She’s exposed as of July 1 and been out there for over a month, now just hanging out with the herd, she’s confirmed been mounted a couple times, if you want to get vet confirmation, that’s on buyer
She is broke to ride, but does have heaves so light riding suggested, or look into supplements if you want to keep her going, please read up on it yourself, make your own opinion on how you’d choose to handle it or not. She’s been perfectly fine out in pasture but it’s suggested to not dry lot her. She stands right about 15h
She is approved for FQHA 88%, she’s easy to be around, sometimes a pill to catch, but grain is her best friend, stands tied, loads, I’ve trimmed her myself she’s easy to do, she is sound, no major blemishes

Ride 4 ✅ RELA######
Took a breather, regrouped, rode with Tag inside as the calming middle man for some direction help, and we got progress 👏🏻
Walked loose rein, trotted looser rein, I had to ignore what he had done and just reset my brain and the result was willingness.
Colts need direction, but a Goldilocks situation: not too stern, not too soft, just the right amount of leadership to let them trust you and trust the process 💙
