We have to take a moment to brag on our Dr. China...
On top of her full time position here as a veterinarian, Dr. China also volunteers as a K9 handler for the Flathead County Sheriff's Department Search and Rescue K9 Team with her hound boys Johnnie and Coal. She has a new addition - a bloodhound puppy named Marshal that she acquired 2 weeks ago as her next tracking prospect! She is also an officer and a member on the local Flathead K9 Foundation board, AND is the SAR liaison to the Montana Law Enforcement Canine Association (and on their board.) Wheew, we are tired just thinking about it!!
As part of this huge commitment, she has to certify her dogs each year in a rigorous test in her tracking discipline, that she organizes via the North American Police Working Dog Association, of which there are not many hounds. Her team just finished their annual certifications this past week where she certified both dogs. Please help us congratulate Dr. China in this huge accomplishment!!!
