Meet Seattle's newest purroduce: Cantaloupe 💖

This sweet and spicy melon isn't into pets yet but awwwwe man, this guy loooves getting pampurred 💅 Cantaloupe requires that he be brushed every session to keep his coat ✨luscious✨

Wand toys are his second favorite way to be loved at a hisstance 🙂‍↕️ He's also partial to his admirers to gazing from afar and talking about how pretttty he is 💁‍♂️

We are so excited to see this bitey spicy boy grow with us. We have a feeling he's gonna hisscover pets are actually pretty good 😻

🙏 Will be an excellent cat at home. She the best.
🧠 Total smartiepants.
🩺 Best behaved cat we've eVER taken to the vet
🏃‍♀️ Gets very silly zoomies around dinner time
🍃 Models catnip kicker toys like a pro
🕺 Does fun tail choreography when she's excited
🎒 Could be a great candidate for harness training.
🦷 Will need some dental work once adopted (but is a purrfect patient)
🏡 Would be happy living with other kitties, dogs, or kids!

Circe, oft called Circle for her round physique, was our prettiest lil wallflower 🌼 Queen of the stank face.

Apprehensive kid isn’t a fan of cats so she never quite fell in love with cat room life but we knew she’d blossom at home 🤞 Once she finally met her people, Circe purroved us right. Girl was giving her people kisses by Day 2 😭

AHHH SISSY & BALOO WERE ADOPTED 😭

We’ve posted about these pals a few times and had to tell you the good mews 🥹 Sissy (calico) & Baloo (grey & white) senior fluffs who needed to be rehomed after their person (a NEKO meownager’s mom) passed away. They were staying with NEKO fam for months and thanks to everypawdy’s help, the nicest folks took them home!!

Thank you to all you magical people for sharing these sweet kids around. We’re so fluffin’ grateful for you cool people helping to make lovely things happen. Baddies, all of ya.

We were prepping for Cat Video Fest & just found these pics from 10 YEARS AGO when Caitlin & Cory were trying to get crowdfunding to start NEKO Seattle at Cat Video Fest 2015 🤯 Two years before we opened!!

Feeling real grateful to all those cat-loving Seattleites. No one knew what they were doing and we thank The Big Sky Cat™️ every day that it turned into all this. Couldn’t have imagined how many kitties and folks we’d get to know and love 🥹 You’re cool. It’s really cool we get to do this.

We’ll be at Cat Video Fest at SIFF Uptown on August 8-10! We’ve loved this event for a decade. We’ll be there tabling and talkin’ kitties 🥰 Plus, a portion of every ticket goes to support us & the incredible life-saving work of ! 💖 Hope to see y’all there!

It happened!! Tiddly’s home!! 🤩

This cryptid haunted the backroom dish sinks in both Seattle AND Bellingham for mONThs and she FINALLY found her person! 😭 We miss this monster but we’re SO fluffin’ happy she’s living the good life! Kid earned it.

Tiddly was our most intense chatterbox. We know all her stories by heart 😌 She eats chicken like a starving dog (swipe to see her impatiently plowing thru a WHOLE CAN). She loves headbutts, and singing, and lightly hitting her friends. Her energy gives ✨cosmically-predestined to be feral but accidentally got domesticated✨ She’s the greatest.

Her human is appurropriately smitten and reports she’s killing it in at-home life. We knew our little goblin could become a cool, social kid and we’re so purroud of how much she grew with us 🥹

Godspeed, Tiddles. Keep screaming, girl 🤘
