🧽🐄 Happening Now at the Sanctuary Farm! 🐐✨

Our veterinary team is rolling up their sleeves and pitching in where it’s needed most—scrubbing the arena and helping keep the sanctuary a clean, safe, and comfortable place for its animal residents.

Animal care goes beyond medical treatment, and we’re proud to support the dedicated staff and volunteers at Sammamish Animal Sanctuary who work every day to provide these animals with exceptional care and a loving environment.

A little elbow grease, a lot of teamwork, and plenty of heart. 💚🐾

When seconds matter, knowing what to do can make all the difference. 🚨🐾

If your pet has been hit by a car:
• Move them to safety only if it’s safe to do so
• Approach carefully, as pain and fear can cause even the sweetest pets to react unexpectedly
• Keep them as still as possible and minimize movement
• Apply gentle pressure to active bleeding, if present
• Contact a veterinary team right away for guidance and urgent care evaluation

We’re excited to invite our veterinary community to an upcoming Continuing Education event! 🐾

📅 Date: Monday, May 18, 2026
🕒 Time: 6:30pm
📍 Location: Bai Tong Thai Restaurant - Redmond

Our veterinary oncologist, Dr. Alexandra Ripoll, will be presenting on melanocytic tumors seen in dogs, cats, and horses. This course provides a comparative approach to understanding melanoma across species—highlighting why these tumors can be highly aggressive in dogs and cats, yet often more indolent, though still progressive, in horses. We will explore the critical differences in the biological behavior, diagnosis, and treatment of melanocytic tumors in companion and equine patients.

We look forward to seeing you there and continuing to support our amazing veterinary community! Find the RSVP link in our comments below!

We’re proud to support Sammamish Animal Sanctuary, a local nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong care for animals in need.

This incredible sanctuary is open to the public, free of charge, so everyone has the opportunity to meet their wonderful residents. With nearly 150 dedicated volunteers, their team works every day to ensure each animal is safe, cared for, and loved. As they do not receive government funding or large corporate donations, they rely on the generosity of their community to continue this important work!
Looking to support their mission?

There are two easy ways to help:
• Let our team know you’d like to add a donation to your invoice during your visit
• Visit the link in our comments to donate directly

Every donation goes directly toward feeding and caring for rescued animals. Together, we can help make a difference for animals in need!
