Meet Bellevue’s New Oncology Specialist: Dr. Ripoll, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology)!💙🐾

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Ripoll, a highly accomplished medical oncologist originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico. A graduate of UC Davis, Dr. Ripoll has trained at top institutions across the country, including Animal Specialty Group (LA), The Animal Medical Center (NYC), North Carolina State University, The Oncology Service (VA), and a three-year Medical Oncology Residency in New Mexico.

She is one of only a few veterinarians worldwide to have completed a two-year fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplant and Apheresis, bringing exceptional expertise to the Pacific Northwest.

With a focus on multidisciplinary cancer care, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and compassionate guidance for families, Dr. Ripoll is dedicated to improving quality of life and offering hope through every step of the oncology journey.

When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys art, baking, farmers' markets, and her many feline friends. 🐱

This pet was brought into our hospital after being found in Allentown near I-5 and 599. He appears to be well cared for and may be someone’s beloved pet.

It's Workout Wednesday… but with a twist!
This “workout” came courtesy of a patient who decided to "sample" some workout resistance bands instead of using them for exercise. 😅

🚑🐾 Our internal medicine team performed a minimally invasive endoscopic retrieval and successfully removed the foreign body — no surgical workout required!

We’re celebrating a smooth recovery for our patient, Jude, and another win for the Internal Medicine team. 💙
