We traded one Maltipoo for another! This little guy is with us for the weekend, and he is just the absolute sweetest dude - he's settling in nicely!

I just sat here, admiring my two girls, and wanted to give them a shout-out. We've had quite an arrangement of new dogs over the last few weeks - from big dogs, to little dogs, and puppies of different sizes. They've taken everything in stride and seem no worse for the wear mentally. I appreciate their stability and steadfastness so much.

Now, don't get me wrong, I had complete faith in their ability to adjust with this business venture and complete change in lifestyle - and I have safeguards in place to give them security and safety, but to see our hard work in action makes me so proud!

Both girls came to me as one year olds, from completely different lives before - each with their own unique baggage and completely opposite personalities... And here they are, at 3 and 5, modeling good behaviors and trusting me with the dogs that come into our lives.

It's not easy to have new dogs coming into your home, but I'm thankful these two continue to trust me and go with the flow 💕

💯 agree! Movement, walking, and having the ability to redirect if need be.

Great article to read, and a policy I use when introducing new dogs. We do introductions in our smaller safe yard, walking along the outside perimeter to keep movement - and then we go for a nice big structured full pack walk.

I keep this method even when dogs are returning, daycare dogs almost always go for a big walk when they first get here... Helps with the nervous over excitable energy.

This is only a small part of how we do daycare differently, and why it's so important to find a daycare that ACTUALLY fits your dog - and not just what we THINK might fit. Not all dogs like big groups or can handle that atmosphere.

Don’t be a primate when doing dog-dog introductions!

Just a couple happy pups basking in the morning sunshine!

A big welcome to Winnie, she's here for daycare today and staying overnight for a quick sleepover tomorrow... She jumped right in as if she's always been here. We can't wait to spend more time with her!

Also shout out to Bella, she's not always been a super confident dog (her mom says she's JUST starting to come out of her shell!) but over the last few days she's been a rockstar! Introduced to new dogs, cohabitated with a crazy little boy, and she's taken everything in stride like a pro - I wish she could be my little ambassador for all new dogs!

Then there's Quinn, just happy to be outside with me and praying no one bothers her 😂

It was a doodle party today! Maki and Bella are only a month apart in age, and despite their size differences, they played great together!

My sign is hung! When coming in, please us the small gate with the sign and I will always do my best to try and meet you outside!
