Happy Mother's Day to all you lovely ladies, whether it's to four legged kids, two legged kids, or both! 🎉

And a big Happy 2 Year Old Birthday to my little feral half-pint that tags along with me rain or shine. This little boy is growing up to love dogs as much as I do, thanks to you sharing yours with us.

These life lessons he's learning, being among so many dogs, will serve him so well as he grows older... But for now, it's teaching him important skills:
* We bark and chase birds in the yard
* We barn and howl at cars that stop at the gate
* We use the doggy door and not the regular door
* We stick our head in a bucket and lap water out of it
* We carry things in our mouth

😂 The last two years has been so amazing, can't wait to see what the next year brings... And what new silly skills the dogs teach him next!

Just a little appreciation post for our resident dogs. Stella, as always, continues to be the most amazing steadfast dog for all our guests... We're working on her loudness when people show up, but once that's over, she is the most neutral and easy dog for everyone to be around. She plays when it suits her, but mostly just oversees everything in a calm (also somewhat judgy) manner that has earned her nickname "Grandma Stella."

And then there's Quigley, the little firecracker that is learning the ways of being a good tolerant steward. He's got a big personality, and raising a pup in this environment (with my perosnal standards of behavior) is testing my handling and training skills in so many new ways - but overall I couldn't be happier with him.

Don't tell them, but I'm going to shake it all up again later this year 🤣
