We said goodbye to our beloved Quigley last night. He was 13 years 8 months and 5 days old. He was the most loyal friend who loved his family without question and forgave without restraint. May we all be so blessed to have a friend as wonderful as he always was. Our hearts are broken tonight as we mourn him.

We raise and train goats specifically for packing. We do our best to raise naturally healthy, hardy goats. Our goats stay on their mother's for at least 4 months and are given herbal dewormers. They are also handled daily from birth.

I'm sorry, but we have some bad news. Cora had a false pregnancy. This means we won't be having any puppies until about April 2022. Please let me know if you are on the waiting list and have changed your mind. I apologize for the disappointment and any inconvenience. We were looking forward to a new litter too 😞

Cora is pregnant! The puppies are due around December 10th. I will contact everyone on the waiting list when they are born as well as post pictures here of course.

William-Blue Merle Male
William has become available again, through no fault of his own. He is very sweet and loves attention. He is medium energy level for an Aussie and has minimal herding instinct. He has a beautiful, fluffy coat. He is a bit independent, but has been learning quickly since being back with us. He is crate trained, leash trained and is working on being house broken. SOLD

Farm Chores

Whether or not an Aussie is destined to be a working stock-dog, it's good for them to learn how to behave around livestock. All the Aussies in our care, either the family members or the ones just here for training, go out to "do chores" every day with us.

Training in the Park

Because we live on a farm, we have to be intentional with leash training and other urban training experiences. Here are our youngest two (George and Victor) having some time at the local park. (Both dogs are spoken for and are in-training with us).

Meet AKC Georgeous Smorgeous "George". George has been in training with Ambling Aussies for the last 2 months after being returned to us. We have had very little issue with him. He is friendly and willing. He spends most of the day outside, unfenced with his parents and siblings on our farm. George sticks close to the house and doesn't chase cars. George will make a nice ranch dog. Although his herding instinct is only average, he is easily trainable. George has had some stock-dog training and knows the basic commands. He is socialized with livestock and poultry and is easily controllable around them although he still gets excited around large stock. We have just started him in agility training and he appears to have a skill for it. More training would be needed to know for sure. He is friendly around children and other dogs. George has good traveling manners in both an SUV and a truck bed. He is crate trained and walks well on a leash. He does not fetch. George was whelped September 30, 2019 and was altered (neutered) before coming to us 2 months ago. George is up-to-date on all vaccinations and deworming. ON HOLD
