Posh Pooch of the Month: Mac 🎣

If cool were a canine, it’d be Mac.

From the moment he makes his signature entrance, we know it’s going to be a good day at camp! Mac’s a great friend to all and is being recognized for his charismatic energy. He’s been a Day Camp member since last summer and enjoys frequent 5-star staycations in our Luxe Indoor/Outdoor Suites 🐾

A few fun facts about our favorite laid-back legend:

🎾 Toy enthusiast & fetch professional — If there’s a toy nearby, Mac has already claimed it.

💤 Master of rest-time cuddles — His favorite place to relax? Tucked underneath our staff’s rested legs.

😎 Most stylish arrival award — Every camp day starts with Mac’s ‘Lowcountry icon’ entrance, riding proudly in the bed of Dad’s pickup truck and setting the tone for another adventure-filled day.

Mac brings the perfect mix of fun, personality, and cool Lab energy wherever he goes, and we’re lucky to have his family as part of ours!

At Posh Pooch Resort & Day Spa, our luxury spa treatments are just as therapeutic for the humans giving them as they are for the pets receiving them 🌿

There’s something calming about slowing down, creating a peaceful environment, and giving one-on-one attention to pets who fully lean into the care and trust being poured into them. From warm hydrotherapy soaks to quiet moments during facials, massages, and pawdicures — it becomes more than grooming. It’s connection, relaxation, and intention for both sides of the table.

The comfort created in those moments is something genuinely shared throughout the experience.

We’re excited to announce our April Posh Pooches of the Month ☔️🌸

Meet Moshy and Lolee! They are the sweetest day camp duo! Moshy met us at our Ribbon Cutting ceremony in 2024 as our very first official tour, has attended just about all of our Posh Pooch events and has been a member since summer of ‘25. Mom added sister Lolee into the mix later that fall to see if our program could benefit her (and it did!). This month they’re being recognized for having the most precious sibling bond! They’re both sweet, polite, affectionate, magnets to one another, and playful with day camp friends.

Fun Facts about Moshy:
-Was originally named “Mochi”, but a family joke started after Grandma called her “Moshpit” by mistake in a text thread and it was too cute not to keep (shortened to “Moshy” as her nickname) 🫶🏽
-Is absolutely obsessed with water, and loves water park day at camp 💦
-Doesn’t mind letting everyone know they’re her new best friend for life 🐾

Fun Facts about Lolee:
-Was an only child until the age of 7.5 yrs when Moshy came along. (Pretends she still doesn’t like her at home in front of Mom, but is glued to her partner in crime while at Day Camp) 🌚🌞
-Does not care for water park days as much as her sister, but still enjoys “lifeguarding” 👁️
-Prior to Posh Pooch, she did not like being around other dogs or care for children, but now allows children to pet her and has lots of new friends 🌟

They’re both such a pleasure to have with us at the resort, and so are Mom and Dad. We’re grateful to be part of their family 🩷

At Posh Pooch, we provide a refined, free-roam environment designed for comfort, safety, and exceptional care. Our Pet Care Specialists are at the heart of that experience—ensuring each guest feels secure, engaged, and genuinely cared for.

What You’ll Do
• Supervise and engage with dogs in a structured, off-leash social setting
• Monitor behavior, ensuring safe and positive group dynamics
• Maintain a clean, calm, and elevated environment throughout the day
• Assist with feeding, personalized services, and rest transitions
• Capture and contribute to daily pet report cards (photos/videos)
• Support day camp, boarding routines, and enrichment activities

What We’re Looking For
• Strong comfort handling dogs of all sizes and various temperaments
• Attentive, observant, and proactive in group settings
• Calm, patient, and naturally nurturing energy
• Ability to stay active and on your feet throughout shifts
• Weekday, weekend and holiday availability

Preferred
• Prior experience in pet care, veterinary, or daycare environments
• Understanding of canine behavior and body language

Client Experience Specialist

Posh Pooch Resort & Day Spa | Beaufort, SC

This role is designed for someone who naturally delivers elevated, seamless service. As the first and last impression of Posh Pooch, you’ll ensure each client interaction reflects the level of care and detail we’re known for.

What You’ll Do
• Greet clients with warmth and professionalism
• Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs with ease
• Communicate services, suite options, and add-ons with clarity
• Coordinate with the pet care team to ensure a seamless experience
• Maintain a polished, organized front-of-house environment
• Assist with client updates, calls, and daily communication

What We’re Looking For
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with an eye for presentation and organization
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
• Polished, calm, and solution-oriented demeanor
• Weekday, weekend and holiday availability

Preferred
• Experience in hospitality, luxury retail, or client service roles
• Comfort with booking systems, POS, and scheduling platforms

This dogs coat was ruined by a harness. This happens often with a lot of my clients dogs. Consider using a 6’ training slip lead for walking like I do for my dog or a martingale collar and leash. Harnesses are the worst for non shedding dogs coats.

We’re excited to announce our March Posh Pooch of the Month 🍀

Meet Duke! He’s a big dog at heart and the sweetest yorkie ever! He’s been a Day Camp member since July of last year and initially came in terrified, but quickly realized he loves living the luxury resort life. This month he’s being recognized for having the silliest personality! He makes an appearance in our group chat most often because he’s a natural at being hilarious 🌟

Fun Facts:
•Will find the largest ball in any yard and instantly make it his ⚽️
•Loves being held and is the best snuggler 🧸
•Mom sends him in cool boy fits and he delivers the attitude 👔

Duke brings the charm, his mom brings the sweetness, and we’re so grateful to have them as part of our Posh Pooch family 🐾
