Why we train…
“I’d like to give a shout out to Beaufort Dog for helping us with our boy Shadow. He’s a strong guy and we had trouble keeping him from pulling on walks. We had a huge back yard and figured he was able to get exercise and walked him elsewhere minimally. We now live in a condo and he gets walked only. Beaufort Dog transformed him from a pulling machine to a pleasant walking partner! He’s a smart boy and picked up quickly. Thank you again for helping us with our fur baby!”

A big problem is that we don’t use their natural instinct to teach them to wait. By starting this way, they develop a natural come command when they hear a release word. In part two, which you’ll see later this week you can see the progression.

All the puppies are going home for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will miss you and see you again soon! Daycare is open normal hours this week, so get all that leftover Thanksgiving energy out.
Training classes are accepting sign ups for the new year, and Private Sessions and Boot Camp (board and train) have immediate openings. Don’t forget to book your Christmas and New Year’s boarding as well.
