We’re sharing a quick update for those in the Sands Beach Road area. A coyote was seen moving through the area recently. This is not unusual for our region, and they generally prefer to keep their distance.
We do ask that anyone who sees the coyote please contact our non-emergency dispatch line at 𝟴𝟰𝟯-𝟱𝟮𝟰-𝟮𝟳𝟳𝟳. This helps us keep accurate information on wildlife activity and ensures we can respond appropriately.
We also encourage extra awareness for those out with pets or small children—just the normal care you’d use around any local wildlife.
