A different type of "Lost and Found" but there is some very good information for our community here. As with cats and dogs, it's always best to reunite babies before contacting animal control or rehabbers. 🤗❤️

We have some really bad weather that will start here around noon today. Please stay safe y'all and after it passes check your yards for wildlife that may be in need of assistance.

With the winds expected there will be baby squirrels blown from nests. Just because they are on the ground doesn't mean that they need a rehabber. If they aren't injured we need to try and reunite them with their mom. Their mom will be looking for them and the babies deserve to be reunited with her.

I'm attaching a picture that has steps to reunite babies with moms that North Texas Wildlife Center created. Please share this so that others will know the proper steps to follow if they find babies.
