We just cut the ribbon on a brand new chapter for nature lovers in Central! Join us this weekend for a special Open House Weekend as we welcome you to explore the trails, spot local wildlife, and kick off the City Nature Challenge with us. 🐾🌎

📍 Frenchtown Road Conservation Area—the largest park in BREC’s system—is now home to a beautiful new Nature Station, built to connect our community with Louisiana’s rare and wild habitats.

The Zoo will be open today during its regular hours. Remember, the zoo has extended weekend hours from April to August. On weekends (Saturday and Sunday), the admission gates open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the zoo grounds close at 6 p.m.
