Our Adoption filled weekend starts tomorrow!

10/21/2026

It’s PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week, which means EVEN MORE chances to meet your new best friend!

K9 Rouge Rescue will be at PetSmart Millerville for THREE days of adoptions, and we’ll have different pups there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!

Friday, October 23 | 12–3 PM
Saturday, October 24 | 11 AM–1 PM
Sunday, October 25 | 11 AM–1 PM

Stop by all three days to meet our dogs, or if you have your eye on a particular pup, send us a message or comment below! We’ll let you know which day they’ll be there.

We have so many wonderful dogs waiting for their people. Some are playful, some are more laid back and some want to be your little shadow. They’re all just waiting for someone to give them a chance.

Please SHARE! Help us get these dogs in front of as many people as possible. Your next best friend might be one share away from finding you.

Come meet them at PetSmart Millerville this weekend.

FOSTERS NEEDED! PLEASE SHARE!

We have several dogs coming in this week that need foster homes! We're helping with two hoarding cases and several strays whose families never came for them. They need your help! Some of these dogs we are not able to help unless we find a foster home especially the large, male doodle. Below are the details that we have so far. If one of these dogs is not what you're looking for, we have several we can swap around to accommodate your preferences including puppies.

In order of appearance:
Small doodle - 3.5 year old female, 15 lbs
Wire hair Terrier - young male, 10 lbs
Shih Tzu - 6 year old female, 8 lbs
Chihuahua mix - 3 yr old female, 11 lbs
Group of Chihuahuas - ALL FEMALES and under 15 lbs
Yorkie mix - 4 yr old female, 10 lbs
Group of Dachshund mixes - 2 females and 1 male, under 15 lbs

Please contact us with any questions you might have to help find these babies temporary homes and eventually permanent, forever homes.

PetSmart Millerville

We’ll have several adorable pups looking for their forever homes, and we’d love for you to come out and meet them!

We’re also always looking for fosters. Fostering helps us make room for the next dog who needs rescue, and you truly make a difference by opening your home, even temporarily. If you’ve been thinking about fostering, stop by and talk with us!

Can’t adopt right now? You can still help by sharing our posts, spreading the word, or coming out to support rescue.

We hope to see you Saturday!

Happy Friday!! 🐾❤️

Thanks to the phenomenal care from Dr. Daigle and Dr. Boucher at Azalea Lakes Veterinary Clinic,
Hugs and Kisses walked out of the clinic today and are heading to a loving foster home while they await their forever families. 🥹🐾

Just 7 days ago, their fate was unknown. These two precious girls were hospitalized with deadly parvo, fighting for their lives.

They were given a second chance because Mardi Paws sponsored the cost of their hospitalization.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who helped make this happy Friday possible. From a terrifying diagnosis at the shelter to walking out of the clinic and into a loving foster home — this is why we rescue.

Hugs and Kisses will be ready for adoption soon. They are 4.5 month old female Basset Hound mixes. They currently weigh 20-21 pounds. If you’re interested in giving one or both of these precious puppies a loving forever home, please submit an adoption application. The link can be found in the comments.
