We hope everyone has had a great weekend! With some higher temps expected this week, we’ll be taking extra precautions with breaks in the AC and access to cool water to make sure everybody stays comfortable. See you all tomorrow! 😊

Just an annual reminder for our daycare parents. As I am working very hard to maintain a safe and healthy environment for your pet, there is still always a possibility of sickness in group settings like this. Their wellness is very important to me.

I am asking all daycare parents to please monitor the state of your dogs p**p. Although there are no confirmed cases of anything at this time, the risk of intestinal parasites are very high in a daycare as they can be exposed anywhere an infected pet has defecated. Unfortunately, dogs that spend time in other public environments, such as the dog park, make this even harder to control. If you notice anything abnormal, please keep them home until a f***l sample can be tested by your vet.

I am doing everything in my power to keep the indoor and outdoor environment sanitized with cleaners targeted for pet related germs, so I plead for everyone to do their part in routinely checking stool at home.

Kennel cough is another easily spread illness. Even dogs who have been vaccinated for it can still get it since there are so many different strains. If you notice your dog coughing or hacking, please keep them home until it clears.

As much as I wish there was no possibility of sickness in my facility, it is possible, and I want to inform you all of the risks.
