The Yellow Dogs Barn is seeking a dedicated, self-motivated and hardworking WEEKEND Yard Worker to join our team for the summer! The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of outdoor spaces. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for landscaping and lawn care. As a Yard Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our properties are well-kept and visually appealing. Must be able to work on your own and be flexible to work around any bad weather. Meet our Staff: Brooke

We’re thrilled to introduce Brooke, who has been a wonderful addition to our team for about 9 months! Brooke is always there to greet you with a smile, especially when she’s running to fetch your dog at the end of the day. She also ensures that the dogs’ crates are clean and ready for the next day, showing her attention to detail and care for the dogs’ comfort.

Brooke loves getting to know each dog and can’t help but comment on how cute they all are—her affection for them is clear! Despite still being in high school, she already has big dreams of becoming a marine biologist, and we’re sure her compassion for animals will take her far.

At home, Brooke has a dog named Bella, as well as three cats—Blaze, Carmen, and Lumi. Her very first dog was a Catahoula stray she rescued from a highway, and that experience sparked her deep love for animals and rescuing them in need.

When she’s not caring for dogs or studying for school, Brooke enjoys drawing, doing crafts, working on her car, and going to car shows—her creativity and passion for life shine through in everything she does.

We’re so lucky to have Brooke as part of our team. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and love for animals make her a joy to work with, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things she’ll accomplish in the future. Thank you, Brooke, for everything you do to make YDB a better place for our furry friends!
