Today we’re celebrating eight incredible years of Lauren — our boarding manager, overall business operations guru, and all-around brilliant human! 🎉

Lauren has been a guiding force through the recent transitions in the boarding facility, especially leading the way as we moved away from co-management and integrated three dedicated coordinator roles — providing the leadership needed in a 365, 24/7 facility. Thanks to her leadership, we’ve built a supportive, cohesive team with the same level of heart and dedication that she brings every single day.

Her commitment is unmatched, especially in the exceptional overnight care our dogs and cats receive. And beyond operations, she’s a true leader in building the deep relationships we’re known for with both our two-legged and four-legged clients. 🐶🐱

Behind the scenes, Lauren continues to be a steady support to me as we navigate high-level decisions and map out Take Five’s future. We are endlessly grateful for her loyalty, insight, and heart.

From puppyhood zoomies to his wiser, mellow days of sunbathing—Vader has been part of the Take Five family since the very beginning 🖤 He’s the perfect example of the bonds we build and the joy we feel watching our daycare pups grow up.

It’s pups like Vader who inspired the creation of Sugar Face Oasis, our soon-to-open program tailored just for our senior and more laid-back friends. We may have had to delay the opening, but Vader—we’re working hard on getting a date on the calendar soon. You’ll be one of the first to know when it’s time to roll out the cozy red carpet🐾✨

This is a huge milestone for our grooming facility, and it speaks volumes about the heart and talent that Tia has brought to the table since joining our team. From full grooms to those signature send-off tubbies, her impact has truly elevated the grooming experience here at Take Five Dogcare ✂️🐾

He's always willing to lend a hand at our boarding facility, always ready to help our feline friends, and a favorite among the pups—as you can see in the photos!
